Hey man just a little FYI...the thing on the end is a counter-balance. It's stabilized it when you're aiming. Not a surpressor. You can take it off...nothing will happen, just dont leave it off. You'll have trouble aiming brother!
@kkhollyhood yes bb's are round and plastic metal and no lead.. pellets are what he just showed they come in different types for instance hollow tip or flat head and you can buy them lead or no lead
@kkhollyhood bbs are just small metal balls, Pellets are tipped with a point and have a hollow inside so that air can push it, personally I think they're much more accurate
the noise reducer on the end (yes thats what it is.) is adjustable for specific noise volume. ive messed with mine and its still louder than hell. sounds like a .22LR going off and it kicks about as much as one.
its not a suppereser its a grip so u can get the barrle down easier and faster u can take it off but like u said it will probbaly be hard to get back on
@hater424 hey i thought i had that problem too but take the barrel put it on the ground and force it down as hard as you can... it gets easier to cock as you use it more
That is obviously not a suppressor. If you notice, the end of the barrel is clearly visible from the muzzle, and there is no chambers for the air to go. This part serves as a weight, cocking aid and a cover for the crown of the barrel.
@zandemen A piece of plastic/ metal on the end of the gun has nothing to do with noise suppression. This is there to protect the crowning of the barrel, and assist in cocking the rifle. On my Benjamin superstreak there is a rather large piece of metal on the end of the barrel, and I have removed it, It is only there for protecting the barrel, assisting with cocking and to mount the front sight.
@rdcd20 The fact that it can be removed does not make something other than what it is, I can remove the scope, it is still a scope.
It is not there to protect the crown since having it there negates the effect of the crown by creating an irregular surface and subsequent turbulence which can negatively impact the consistency of flight, might as well not even have a smooth and uniform crown with this mounted. Nice try though.
@zandemen I removed it to proove that under it there are no ports, nor a chamber for air. It simply is attached to the barrel to assist in cocking. If it was a suppressor crosman would have made that claim and used it in they're marketing. The gamo whisper has a suppressor and it is clearly designed for that purpose. However this gun just has a piece of plastic over the barrel.
@rdcd20 good thing to prove something that has already been agreed upon and not debated I guess, did you notice that it is choked down? Did you do a sound test with and witohut it? What were your measurments? If I did a test and it was quieter with it would you believe then that it is a suppressor?
Mrnubman, the oil and grease in the cylinder will ignite under very high pressure, causing a small explosion adding to the propellant gases. This will subside after ten shots or so.
Also, try heavier pellets to slow it down if there is a sonic boom.
Some very light pellets like the gamo platinum will be supersonic.

@rdcd20 silencer/suppressor is an expansion chamber after the muzzle which slows redirects or dampens exhaust gasses, the chamber after the muzzle is 0.485" ID choked down to about 0.3" at the end of the silencer, creating a chamber, in which exhaust gasses expand preventing some of this expansion outside= quieter.
The fact that it does not have additional dampening or deflectors, multiple baffles or wash plates does not negate the fact that it is a silencer, no matter how ineffective it is.
@zandemen It is not a silencer due to its design. Just because the muzzle diameter is larger than the rest of the barrel does not make it a silencer. This piece is considered a muzzle break. It is on the gun to increase the amount of leverage the user has while cocking the rifle. There are no ports on it which prevent air from traveling out from the barrel. This is a simple piece which is attached with a screw and epoxy to the barrel.
@rdcd20 it is not just larger, but then choked down creating a chamber, ie. suppressor., a brake is the same thing but there are ports to redirect the gas to compensate for recoil, deflectors which make the gas go back and via first law of newtonian physics, accelerate the rifle forward dampening recoil.
It has a muzzle brake on the end of it to reduce noise (which it does for supersonic cracks). It's basically a Phantom with a muzzle brake, and no sights, but they send a nice scope, which more than makes up for that.
not suppresor its a barrel choke. it suppose to do sumthing with barrel harmonics or something. but it doesent really work on air rifles only on real rifles i guess.
Hi does any body know if i can put a remington air master 77 barrel on a chinese B1 air rifle not for anything for power just because the nickel barrel would look cool with a wood stock rifle anybody?
hey i got my G1 Xtreme Yesterday, and everything is fine, but the distance number thing keeps on sliding off and going around, is it supposed to be glued on? if not how do i use it
@21ROYIK21 If you are talking about the parallax correction ring on the bell of the scope, it should stay on, but be able to turn. To use it, you set the ring at the distance you are shooting to cancel out parallax. I'm not the best at explaining the concept of parallax, but there are many sites such as pyrmyd air which have a good explanation of it.
the reason your scope gets blurry is because its out of focus, adjust the fornt dial for distance, sort of a trial and error thing, the more you toy with your scope, i guarentee you will get a feel for its settings
when the target gets blurry you need to adjust the front or distance " i own this gun and have spent alot of time with it, i have a Black Squirrel with the front set to about 125. i know there is the 100 then the 200 but it was about 125 Yards. if you have any question about you gun just ask, as for pellets dont get fast pellets and get the heavier pellets, more accurate, i recommend very highly Crosman Premier Hollowpoints ^_^
This is just a crosman phantom with a few extras.

1 noise suppressor, slows down or traps gasses ergo noise
2 flash suppressor redirects burning gasses out of the line of sight
3 muzzle brake redirects gasses to compensate for recoil

its a phantom but better scope silencer and better barrel good vid
SUPERHOOPERMAN12 2 years ago
This gun has no silencer.
rdcd20 1 year ago
@rdcd20 it is stock with a very primitive silencer, pretty ineffective, more for show.
ie, there is an expansion after the muzzle with a baffle at the end of it.
The problem is that the bore throught he baffle is very much larger than the pellet, allowing a lot of blowthrough, and there is only one baffle.
zandemen 1 year ago
@zandemen That is not a silencer, It is a single piece of plastic on the muzzle.
