I hate how everyone says halo is unrealistic. It doesnt matter that it takes loads of shots to kill them! Its a sci-fi shooter! Video games were created for this sort of things, because we play video games because we can't do that in real life. Everyone loves cod now, but when halo 4 comes out it will blow them all away!!!!! I think with this though, they should have used the Halo1 engine for the multiplayer to stop making it exactly the same as reach. Still great though!

I was 16 when I first played halo 1. I bought it the year it came out and it is apart of my adolescent/child hood. Me and my friend would play it day and night. We'd play it over and over and over again. We beat it on easy, normal, heroic, and legendary on both solo and coop. I'm now 26 and it's still my favorite game and I still own the original xbox halo 1 game that I had 10 years ago. Halo 1 was what got me into First Person Shooting games and will always be the pinnacle of video games.
Sucks that on new graphics, they made it look good, but the grass isn't anti-aliased so it looks like shit and you get a bad framerate on large draw distances

I still remember the very first time I played Halo....when I was 8. :P I still have screenshots in my mind as I played it at my friend's house. PLEASE 343, get the Battle Rifle back (3 round burst rifle) instead of the DMR...
The DMR is horrible! and on reach its horrible for everything apart from killing grunts... it suuuuuuucks!
P.S. if you want the game to be SUCCESSFUL like halo 3 and not a fail like reach.. then I would suggest making the game style as much like halo 3 as possible, AKA: movement,jump,pickup,multiplayer.

Anniversary brings back memories of when I was 10 and my friends would come over and we would play 2 v 2 multiplayer having a blast. Always pushing each other trying to mess each other up, grabbing the each other's remotes, and always try to call each other out on "Screen Jacking" when ever we would die. Thank you Halo.

On normal u absolutely tear through enemies with the AR. The sniper rifle when u fire it, it has that sensation you know that the enemy just got fucked over.
i would watch my brother play this, and he would ask me if i wanted to play, and hed hand me a controller, but i would hold it upside down, without it plugged in, and thought it was me playing when it was him, Anastalga up in this business
I first heard of Halo in '07, I bought the original before the third, and still prefer the original. Everything was so beautiful, the soundtrack, the scenery, the vehicles, it was the best game of all time. It's going to be nice to be able to switch back and forth from the modern look to the classic look on the fly. Halo was the first FPS I bought, definitely the best $20 I spent. I need to save up for this, now.

I just hope the CE remake doesn't ruin what's in the original. Personally I feel the first 2 were the best because it was something new and original. Halo 3 was sort of slapped together to end that trilogy. ODST was more of an add-on than it's own game, and Reach was cool, but the Elites moved too much and the Marines were really downgraded in intelligence. But I loved all the Halos, even Wars. Just some were better than others. As for the remake, I'm excited to see the Flood in a new look.
So it's coming for the 360, great news. I haven't got my 360 Modern Warfare 3 limited edition yet. Will be a blast when i do eventhough i'm late to the party :)

I personally thought halo reach was amazing i felt more like i created my own spartan so i thought it was good plus the graphics were amazing and in the campaign i felt like i was fighting an actual war where every marine played a role instead me running and shooting so im glad they're making this like reach because reach kept me addicted for a year now so that must be good...juust no armor lock i hope
@killermodd5545 Meh.. Marines has been always been usefull, in Halo 1, 2 and especially in Halo ODST I felt like not alone in the battlefield. In Halo 1 Jonhson took out 2 Hunters alone with a sniper rifle on legendary. In Halo 2 Elites are more dangerous than you when you can equip them with right weapons and in ODST Marines and your odst squad are just kickass. So hmm.. Nothing new :'3

Why do people always hate halo reach, if you hate armor abilities and don't think it makes the game more about strategy and more fast paced, play CLASSIC mode just like halo 3 but better gameplay and more skill
@halo31004 I, by myself, think that power ups made gameplay unbalanced, multiplayer was a fail expect the classic mode which were.. Nothing new, so that isnt that good either. Besides, campaing itself was a total failure.. Im fan of Halo and I tried to enjoy Reach but I just couldnt. :S

Personally Halo: Combat Evolved is easily The Best Halo I've ever played. The Campaign was so well made and the Multiplayer was just awesome. I loved the unique driving characteristics of the Warthogs, where you steered it with the Mouse, easy to do badass maneuvers :D
Can't wait for this, I'll definitely be grabbing it after Battlefield 3! :D

in anoher video they say online play is from reach. (like the onlie is DLC for reach) if this is true than all that work is for nothing, cose it will only piss people off and kill sales. "MESSAGE TO 343" .hundreds of people (including me) love and still play halo combat evolved online just the way it is naw. dont mess with the online part, just update the grafix and leave the rest alone.

Fuck, make these games for PC again! This pisses me off to no extend. Halo:CE and Halo 2 are the most compelling shooters I have ever played, I simply love the story. Please bring this stuff out on PC again like in ye ol days.

One thing I want to see is ( think mission six) when you walk into the empty base watch Jenkins footage then the swams of flood froms that attack you after epic
But the thing I wonder when you watch Jenkins footage at the end will you see the Marrines become flood or will they just die like in the original one ??

@BigRedChester Yeah I allways belived that they did not have the tech back in 2001 to make them change into combat forms or at least make them look realistic perhapps if they did not look relistic durring the transformation maby many of us would not have been affraid of them.

I personally thought halo reach was amazing i felt more like i created my own spartan so i thought it was good plus the graphics were amazing and in the campaign i felt like i was fighting an actual war where every marine played a role instead me running and shooting so im glad they're making this like reach because reach kept me addicted for a year now so that must be good...juust no armor lock i hope

@killermodd5545 Meh.. Marines has been always been usefull, in Halo 1, 2 and especially in Halo ODST I felt like not alone in the battlefield. In Halo 1 Jonhson took out 2 Hunters alone with a sniper rifle on legendary. In Halo 2 Elites are more dangerous than you when you can equip them with right weapons and in ODST Marines and your odst squad are just kickass. So hmm.. Nothing new :'3

Why do people always hate halo reach, if you hate armor abilities and don't think it makes the game more about strategy and more fast paced, play CLASSIC mode just like halo 3 but better gameplay and more skill

@halo31004 I, by myself, think that power ups made gameplay unbalanced, multiplayer was a fail expect the classic mode which were.. Nothing new, so that isnt that good either. Besides, campaing itself was a total failure.. Im fan of Halo and I tried to enjoy Reach but I just couldnt. :S

Personally Halo: Combat Evolved is easily The Best Halo I've ever played. The Campaign was so well made and the Multiplayer was just awesome. I loved the unique driving characteristics of the Warthogs, where you steered it with the Mouse, easy to do badass maneuvers :D
Can't wait for this, I'll definitely be grabbing it after Battlefield 3! :D
