When he was at his physical peak, I actually like Lavrovsky better than Vasiliev doing the prince roles. Later, I think he had some knee and other problems which toned down his bravado a little bit. Vasiliev was incredible but perhaps not as good in the "prince" roles (he had a fairly squat body) in some ways he was more of a demi-charactre dancer... but, of course, brilliant. I love him in the Humpback Horse.

very good, for the time.. the tours en attitude after the saut de basque and the transition between the two pirouette series are awesome. As well as the second pirouette series.
