Thank you for this video. i just depoted my wet n wilds and even the Urban Decay 15 palette without damaging the tray . Ive seen plenty vidoes where people burning holes in plastic and pushing shadows out, in that case- damaging whole box . I depoted all and The cute UD box it looks like new , just empty . @SouthernYankeeBeauty I am so glad this helped. Everyone has a different method and I think these shadows are particularly hard to work with because they are so fragile so i am glad you have a good way to depot them :)

@DiamondPinkz Its saves time and space. For me to achieve a look i might need to use shadows from the lust, greed and I got good jeans palette and depoting means I dont have to rummage through all my palettes. They can all be conveniently placed in one big palette.

An easier and more effective way to depot eyeshadows is to drop a couple drops of rubbing alcohol into the crevice of the pan and the plastic and what that would do is dissolve the glue and just take a thumbtack and pry it outta there :)

"You'll be sorry if you force it" you seriously will guys. I ruined a ton of my Wet n Wild shadows trying to depot them on a poor tutorial in the past. Also, the thumbtack is such a good idea, when I did mine they suggested a knife and that just bends the shadows, it's not fine enough. At the end of the day I regret depotting mine since I did it really poorly and my Z Palette they're all in is a total mess. This is great for people who want to though <3

@dancewithbrit Its the Greed palette, which I often overlooked, but after depoting and seeing each shadow individually, I have realized some of the colors are amazing and I will use so much more now. :)

@rainyrays I own hundreds of eyeshadows so for me its about saving space. Its much easier and saves storage space when all of mine are in palettes like the Z palette. For a lot of people its convenient to have all your shadows in one big palette so you can mix and match with out having to open 3 wet n wild palettes. Great question and I hope that answered it. :)
