my neighbour has a 10ft howse brush hog it works good he goes slow doesnt want to get a flat tire he use to use a drumb mower to brush hog with it worked good howse brush hog and schulte are the best
This was filmed at my dad's farm near DeSoto, Wisconsin in 2006. My dad was 82 when I took this video of him on the tractor. He's 86 now, and no longer rides it but the tractor is still going strong and so is he.
Those old Fords just keep going and this one is like the one a friend purchased and rebuilt. The bush hog looks good and did a great job cutting all that grass.
Heh.... I wouldn't have the slightest idea. Heck I don't even know what an 8n even is. This is my dad's tractor and bush hog, and he's the farmer in the family, not me. A couople of years ago, we planted wildflowers where that pasture used to be, so no need to mow it any more.
I had a 5' Bush Hog SQ600 Squealer, a 5' SQ160Squealer, and now I've upgraded to the 5' Bush Hog model 285 medium duty cutter. Bush Hog is the best on the market. Period.
heck no. My dad is a farmer, but I'm not, and I hate the damn thing. I was on it once, and didn't know where the brake was, and it just about flipped me over. My dad is 85 (82 when this was filmed), and he has owned it for 20 years. He takes good care of it. It's an old tractor from the late 40s or early 50s.
i'm only 13 and when i first drove that tractor i had a seeder on the three point hitch and i popped a wheelie putting it into second. the clutch is realy sensitive in second.
@D8W2P4 I didn't say the TRACTOR flipped over. I said it almost flipped ME over. The engine wasn't working for some reason, and we had to get it into the front yard to be looked at by a mechanic. So my dad was pulling it with a rope up a slight incline, using his Ford Expedition. Well, the dang rope broke. The tractor lurched backward down the hill, with me on it, unable to stop it. It was probably hilariously funny to watch but it scared the crap out of me. After that I said "NEVER again."
@dave00004483 Ah that's clearer I see what you are saying now.I also have a saying "They make em out of metal for a reason" because you will never see a working machine made entirely out of rope,quite personally I just don't trust rope it hauls off and breaks way to often.

@dave00004483
YEAH IT'S AN 8N YOU CAN TELL BUY THE BOLT PATTERN ON THE REAR WHEELS. THE 8NS WERE REALLY CLOSE TOGETHER THE 9N AND 2NS WERE FARTHER SPREAD APART

@dave00004483 What on Earth where you doing that almost flipped it over?You just about can't flip an N-series over if you wanted it to.
