I think this is really sad. I am growing up in this area and I always wanted to check out all of these railroad spots but I feel like slowly they are fading away. Oh well...
Hmmmm... Oooookay... But it makes no sense to load it on a railroad flat car when it can be shipped over rail on it's own wheels anywhere the flat car can go!?
it's at a cold storage warehouse in perryvile, maryland. i've ridden on it when i worked for canton railroad. they used it when their motor broke down. that sw1 was a great pulling engine. we also used it to dump ballast.

I broke into it when it was being torn down an found some photos inside of other locomotives an a small fork lift
