It's the principle of the matter. Take your own favorite game for example. Assume there was an equally awesome sequel to it, which is story driven to hell that you absolutely can't wait for the next one to find out wtf is going on. Then instead of getting the continuation, you're stuck with multiple "spinoffs" or "back stories" across multiple platforms, when all you want to do it continue your epic story. Now apply that to hardcore KH fans. We just want to continue our story.

Try playing some of the "recommended" and properly done 3DS games to get an idea of how nintendo is using it, maybe then youll understand why they choose that over HD. I wish you had a 3DS because then id challenge you to 100% complete Pushmo without the 3D with ease, and then wish you good luck, 3D in that game helps the player more than you can imagine, which is why its highly respected already.
