Brings back memories of season 7 of Buffy-simply perfect, a great song for an epic season! Kennedy and Willow, Xander and Anya, Wood and Faith, Buffy and Spike forever!! <3
@sunnymadrose Heck yah!! There was actually a video of this song with Buffy/Willow that I would take any day over Kennedy! But I guess it got taken down. =( I'm not a Buffy/Willow fan but it was done for a fake pairing contest.
@thenextbigthing100 I know! I heard about that and all I thought was 'so why the heck didn't you do it!?!' that would have been the best moment of season 7
Have always loved this song since I heard it on Buffy but I never knew what it was called... I've had the the first line stuck in my head for so long and now I can finally sing the whole thing lol.... Love this and Buffy the Vampire Slayer. This song worked so well with the show :D
A hundred plus years, and there's only one thing I've ever been sure of. You. Hey, look at me. I'm not asking you for anything. When I say I love you, it's not because I want you, or because I can't have you - it has nothing to do with me. I love what you are, what you do, how you try... I've seen your kindness, and your strength, I've seen the best and the worst of you and I understand with perfect clarity exactly what you are. You're a hell of a woman. You're the one, Buffy.
@ChrissieBana and then she says "I don't want to be the one." Oh my God how I love Buffy and Spike/ Sarah and James. Then this song. and season 7. eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee BUFFY!!!!!
@franjinha18 I love them too, and season 7 was amazing. And this song is beautiful. I would far rather hear a guy say to me 'You're a hell of a woman' then just about anything else any guy can say. And they say a lot of meaningless crap.
There's only positive feedback for this video which is a good thing. I just want to like every comment people left here! :D
I am a huge fan of Buffy, and the episode 'touched' Was amazing. Joss Whedon sure knows how to end a show amazingly (not that touched was the last episode but it was close to the end)!
in the last of episode of BTVS there is an episode where buffy and spike are together and Joss Wheadon doesn't show what they do because he wanted the audience to decide for their selves what they did.
I love this song. Every time I hear it, all I think about is Buffy and Spike. It was soooo cute and romantic the things he said to her and when they held each other. ♥
Just for the record, Buffy&Spike never had sex in the episode this was played in. They laid in bed and he held her, no sex. She never slept with him after he tried to rape her. Just wanted to clear that up.
@idontbakenocookies which night? the night this song played? Because they didn't make love, they just held each other. It was the comfort and the love and the silent strength and assurance that even though everyone else turned on her, there was still one person in her world that believed in her and was there to help her through that hard time. That's what gave her the strength. Just the fact that he was there. No intercourse needed, it was intimate emotionally.
This girl had a video on here for Buffy and Willow slash. And it had this song as the music. But she deleted her account. And it was like my favorite video on all of youtube. Sad.
Reminds me a bit of the Buffy/Spike arc. The thing I liked most about "Touched" (the ep that features this song) is that the scene in the stanger's house shows the one thing that had always been missing from the Buffy/Spike relationship. They've done mortal enemies, reluctant allies, annoying neighbor, comrades, friends, the angst love/hate relationship, but never had that real intimate moment. Good song to reinforce that :-)
I first heard this song on Buffy and WOW, it's amazing! Those scenes that went along with it, especially between Spike and Buffy, were so incredibly heart- and gut-wrenching....LOVE
I love this song bcuz of Buffy and Spike
