The sound was total crap unless you were right up front. I had a AAA pass and went round the entire place trying to find a decent spot. What you hear above is a brilliant representation what you heard in 80% of the venue = Mostly reverb off the ceiling and the crowd talking. Almost no guitar.
When I saw them before at Brixton before it was amazing, a full thick sound. The only comparison to this was when they played the Astoria which was bad but not as bad as this.
@tassletine I was at this gig too. The sound was dreadful! The sound engineer should be sacked. The bass drum and bass were too boomy and Larry's guitar was way too quiet.
@TECHNOID69 Just saying, a venue designed with high ceilings for theatre and opera just isn't going to cut it for a particularly percussive type of music. That's all.

No way they did Tommy the cat!!! never did it for us up in Manchester!! sounds like they did a completly different set for you guys too! ....was still the best thing i have ever seen in my life though!! :-D

it's a shame that no one seemed to stand in the circle (apart from about 20 people) even when the guards said it was fine to (if you were not on the first 3 rows). amazing performance though, les was on top form, as was ler. highlights were tommy, knowitall, jillys on smack. and people, they rarely do wynona anyway, certainly not in the last tour.
It was good but i left dissapointed they didnt play any of these: Shake Hands with Beef, Golden Boy, Wynnoas big brown beaver, Sgt Baker or indeed anything off Anitpop. A bit less soloing would have been better and cram in the hits we all have been waiting to hear.
