Conney is a very good player but Franklin is one of a kind.. No one can do what he can.. He's 6'6, athletic, great ground skills, leads the league in contested marks, will kick 100 goals this year and has sooooo much improvement left in him it's scary..! Will probably be the greatest player in the modern era.. I'm a tigers supporter so I am spuing we picked Tambling!!

Hawthorn had the best recruiter in all the land with Chris Pelchen and got Roughead (80 goal a year player)and Franklin in that draft! Not to mention Jordan Lewis who is a better player than Tambling. We (Richmond) have recruited poorly for years.. We have the wrong people in charge down there, simple... Hawthorn and Richmond have had around the same number of high picks in the last 6 years and they have blokes like Hodge, Franklin, Roughead, Lewis, Rioli, Sewell and Birchall playing for them.

yes cooney is a gun but he is not a freak. buddy is a freak. in the nicest possible way. i have never seen a player of his size that has the speed of a midfielder whilst having the strength and accuracy of a forward. whilst also having the ability to turn defensive when needed. awesome all round footballer . congratulations to buddy for the coleman medal in 08.
