im going to b straight-forward. COD4 has customizable perks and weapons(and weapon attachments) that you can unlock. in Halo 3 u can only pick up set guns, which you can also do in COD4 in my OPINION cod4 is better but halo 3 is still an amazing game
you cannot pick up set weapons in cod unless you kill a peron or i guess if you count the turret on one or two levels. CODs campaign is way better than halos but i just think LIVE is better on halo and halo there is a lot more updates to make people keep wanna playin it

Halo 3 does not require strategy, (Slayer), but if you're playing a match that requires you to use teamwork, then you would, but CoD 4 has the same thing, Search and Destroy, Team Tact.
You have no clue kid, try and get a halo 3 fifty in Team Slayer by yourself then and tell me it takes no team work. CoD is pure run and gun. You don't need to fight for power weapons or team shoot because you spawn with your power weapons and can kill a guy in 3-1 shots depending on your gun. It doesn't take skill to get 10th prestige or have a good K/D all you need is to be able to camp with a snipe.
cod4. I dont get why halo 3 takes more skill. all the weapons are easy to use. sniping in cod4 takes more skill because the scope shakes about alot unless you hold your breath which you can only do for a short ammount of time. and you cant zoom in with the cod4 sniper scopes making it harder to take down people at longer distances. halo 3s boring as shit all that happens is people rush for the power weapons at the beggining of every match and camp with them.

yea the skill is usually on the BR all your shots(4) have to be accurate. but when they say "skills" in halo 3 they mean the team work skills. there are callouts, timing, and setups. there is much more in halo then just shooting. if you dont work together there is no way your gonna win unless you have some pros in your team lol but i doubt that.

Also I believe that the multiplayer takes more skill due to the fact that it takes longer to kill an enemy with the weapons available. Also professional gaming leagues take Halo 3 more seriously. But don't be mistaken, I think Call of Duty 4 is a great game, I just like Halo 3 more.

Both games are equally good, its more a matter of what kind of play style you prefer. Call of Duty is very much run and gun, and more based on real life. Halo is more about twitch reflex and weapon control. Depending on which you prefer, the game that offers that will appeal to you more.
In a sense yes. In both games you can run around and gun people down. But in Halo you have to concern yourself with where the power weapons are and who has them. COD there are no power weapons so you literally only have to concern yourself with running around and shooting people. Again, not saying one is better than the other, I personally love both.
mind you in the sense that n00bs in CoD run and gun... the skilled players do more than just rn and gun, where as in Halo... the victors are the ones who can hold onto the rocket the longest or the sword or w/e. it takes strategy for both games to become victorious, but the gameplay is different so much that you cant say CoD sucks cause of the 2 hit kill... the gameplay and strategy complements the 2 hit thing.

For me, the UAV, air strike and helicopter ruin cod for me.
In halo the ridiculous amount of power weapons drag the game down, in my opinion at least.

im going to b straight-forward. COD4 has customizable perks and weapons(and weapon attachments) that you can unlock. in Halo 3 u can only pick up set guns, which you can also do in COD4 in my OPINION cod4 is better but halo 3 is still an amazing game

odst was ok but got boring after a week or two, choosing my own weapon that fits my style is better than having the same weapon as someone else, playing as a homosexual frog on steroids gets old, and all you need to win in halo is someone on your team to grab/ get in a /shotgun and camp in a cave/rocket launcher/ sniper/sword/banshee.

Halo 3 does not require strategy, (Slayer), but if you're playing a match that requires you to use teamwork, then you would, but CoD 4 has the same thing, Search and Destroy, Team Tact.

You have no clue kid, try and get a halo 3 fifty in Team Slayer by yourself then and tell me it takes no team work. CoD is pure run and gun. You don't need to fight for power weapons or team shoot because you spawn with your power weapons and can kill a guy in 3-1 shots depending on your gun. It doesn't take skill to get 10th prestige or have a good K/D all you need is to be able to camp with a snipe.

cod4. I dont get why halo 3 takes more skill. all the weapons are easy to use. sniping in cod4 takes more skill because the scope shakes about alot unless you hold your breath which you can only do for a short ammount of time. and you cant zoom in with the cod4 sniper scopes making it harder to take down people at longer distances. halo 3s boring as shit all that happens is people rush for the power weapons at the beggining of every match and camp with them.

yea the skill is usually on the BR all your shots(4) have to be accurate. but when they say "skills" in halo 3 they mean the team work skills. there are callouts, timing, and setups. there is much more in halo then just shooting. if you dont work together there is no way your gonna win unless you have some pros in your team lol but i doubt that.

Halo 3 is the conclusive trilogy of one of the most respected and loved game franchises in all of gaming. Halo wins in Campaign and Co-op. Also I believe that the multiplayer takes more skill due to the fact that it takes longer to kill an enemy with the weapons available. Also professional gaming leagues take Halo 3 more seriously. But don't be mistaken, I think Call of Duty 4 is a great game, I just like Halo 3 more.

Both games are equally good, its more a matter of what kind of play style you prefer. Call of Duty is very much run and gun, and more based on real life. Halo is more about twitch reflex and weapon control. Depending on which you prefer, the game that offers that will appeal to you more.

In a sense yes. In both games you can run around and gun people down. But in Halo you have to concern yourself with where the power weapons are and who has them. COD there are no power weapons so you literally only have to concern yourself with running around and shooting people. Again, not saying one is better than the other, I personally love both.

mind you in the sense that n00bs in CoD run and gun... the skilled players do more than just rn and gun, where as in Halo... the victors are the ones who can hold onto the rocket the longest or the sword or w/e. it takes strategy for both games to become victorious, but the gameplay is different so much that you cant say CoD sucks cause of the 2 hit kill... the gameplay and strategy complements the 2 hit thing.

a perfect campaign? it was 6 hrs long and was your typical "fight the terrorists" scenario. it was fun and all but the actual story itself wasn't memorable at all. I'll put my two cents in: Halo 3 is fun because of Forge, Custom Games, films and all of that stuff. Call of Duty 4 is fun because you must have good reaction time and actually think tactically, and you can custiomize weapons. Both great games, but if I had to choose, I'd go with Call of Duty 4.

cod takes no skill whatsoever. It takes a second to kill someone in cod, however in halo you have a chance to kill the person that starts shooting at you. And as well a strategy goes online is way better in halo. The campaign in halo also dominates. there is an MLG for CoD , albeit a MUCH lower prize , and just because of that it doesnt take more skill , CoD is actually , if played professionaly , a much more strategic game than Halo. Before you start your bullshit here , i play halo 3 with my friends who do all that hardcore setting up bullshit on guardian and stuff , so i understand that aspect , but CoD is class based , and you can have a team that has a support gunner , a sniper , and a ninja , with Halo it just depends on your weapon

campaign, comparing the two story wise for one is comparing Shakespeare (CoD4) to Fantastic Four (Halo 3). Halo 3 is cheesy , while CoD4 is believeable and full of twists like *spoiler* mid game nuke *end spoiler* that makes it better than most Hollywood movies.
And Halo 3's marines are the dumbest shit ive ever seen. They arent believable allies at all , but CoD4 has smooth animations and the AI actually says important stuff like "RPG on the rooftop" , which make them seem like real players

Well in Cock of Duty 4 it takes place in the present, In halo 3 it takes place in the Future. Of course it would take a whole clip because you have god damn shields, dumbass. In Halo 3 you can drive a wide range of vehicles, I don't see that in Cock of Duty 4, do you? Also, the maps in Cock of Duty are like the size of a football field at the max, and Halo 3 has giant maps that dwarf COD4.
