  • Fantasticos siempre !!! Un abrazo desde Argentina !!!!

  • On this video Ian just is a little weak on vocals because his voice is bit strained that night. Maybe it's because of a little cold or cause of too much screaming in the former shows. They are touring that much, sometimes there are shows like this when a singer can't fit his own shoes. No prob for me...

  • This video lacks bass, the vocals are coming through too clearly so you can nit pick.

  • I've always been huge Purple fan. and today I think they should take Glenn Hughes on vocals and think about seriously because Ian Gillan had lost his voice in 80s. it's very sad because I was inspired by classic Mk-2 & Mk-3 albums but these days they are getting older and older. Only Glenn Hughes saved his incredible voice to these days. I think when the singer is powerful he makes band to play more powerful and stronger. No diss. It just my opinion. :)

  • Gillan lost his voice in the 80's? Gillan sounded awesome on the Come Hell Or Highwater dvd... That was in 94? No lost voice / just different. I've seen him after 2000 many times and thought he sounded great. Sure - differen't and maybe not as good as on Made In Japan record for example - but still sounds awesome... He's changed his way of singing to suit the change in his vocal chords... As in the other comments, he was having an off night on this recording...

  • @sunnylee84

GILLAN DIDN'T LOOSE HIS VOICE UNTIL 2008...YOU SHOULD LISTEN TO 1996 MONTREUX DVD, 2002 NEC DVD, 2005 VIELLES CHARREUX AND SO ON...

  • i think he sing very good now but not in this video

  • BTW in the 2006 (I think) concert - Gillan was swining his mic stand as he does - the mic stand came loose - flew across the stage and hit me (I was right up front against the stage) - was awesome - he ran up mid song and asked if I was ok... - then apologised after the song - got to meet the whole band afterwards and they gave me free tickets for 2 of my mates also - to the next nights show... leG-ends... (Ian Paice was the one who personally took my details down...)

  • I'm going to see them in November at Birmingham. I just hope I get hit in the face by a mic! What an awsome story.

  • Awe I'm jelous u get to see their show in November... They haven't been out to Oz for years - It'll be an awesome show :) Say hi to Gillan for me :p

  • Was that at the sydney show? Lol I read about that on the highway star =P I went on the second night XD

  • Hehe yeh that was the Sydney show :) We were wrapped to get to see them again the next night... That's awesome! We prob brushed shoulders ;) Where was it on the Highway Star?

  • I saw DP in Oz in 2002 I think it was - and Gillan's vocals seemed off... I thought ok - it's all over... - Then saw them again in 2004 (I think...) and his vocals KICKED BUTT!!! - Then next concert I saw 2006 maybe? - the same - awesome vocals... Everyone has off nights or even bad patches right? Especially with Gillans range... - but you're right... he looks unwell... Hope all's well...

  • Hey, Ian doesn't look (or sound) allright... is he OK?

  • he had flu :(

  • @bilos1993 I dont know I cant see or hear this show that well

  • Gillan lost his voice in 2008...

  • what appened Ian? :(

  • Ian was sick that night :(

  • Gillan can't sing anymore :(

  • Can't wait until November, I'm seeing them then. I love this song, I hope it stays in the setlist through the summer and fall as well.

  • la magia purpura perdurara x siempre..
