I am 42 and at the start of the year had bilateral BHR on the 4th Feb 2010, which has failed now only after 9 month so I have to be reoperated on for THR in Dec 2010, but a little worried because what has happen with the BHR, the BHR was meant to last 10 to 15 years before I would need a THR, but both failed with in 9 months, I think the Dr that did the operations screwed both BHR's up and that is why they failed.
@SpartanWarrior1968 Hey! I know this is an old post but I was wondering how you made out with the THR. Did you ever find the cause of the BHR failures? Was the BHR at the Mayo? Scary stuff. I'm 28 and need a new hip so I'm doing my research :)
