Um hey, just another Chevy fanboy here. I'd like to point out that Ford itself can't build a Mustang to beat the Camaro, or Challenger for that matter. They have to rely on Shelby to do that for them. I'd also like to point out that the GT500 is supercharged, while the Camaro and Challenger are all motor. yeah ford needs to work on reducing weight on all the mustang models, with the shelby they can work on ditching the 5.4 motor. it would be nice to have the 5.0's back.
1) My comment was saying the new mustangs all weigh at least 3500 with a driver (3401 for base v6 coupe). This means the base model weighs at least 3500 with a driver (unless its a 98 pound driver).
2) 2 tons=4000 pounds, and 3500+ describes 4000, so even if i was referring to only the gt500, i still would have been right.

Actually it is around 500 at the crank shaft. The loss of power is lost in the drive train. It is a nice car but it is heavy and it looks very cool.

challenger stoppin? camaro SS eatin? that guy needs to stop. COME ON, the GT500 is supercharger and it costs like 65,000. if the challenger was offered supercharged stock, then they could compete. also the challenger SRT is around 42,000....FORD SUCKS

Um hey, just another Chevy fanboy here. I'd like to point out that Ford itself can't build a Mustang to beat the Camaro, or Challenger for that matter. They have to rely on Shelby to do that for them. I'd also like to point out that the GT500 is supercharged, while the Camaro and Challenger are all motor. If you were to add a supercharger to either the Mustang would once again, receive an ass whooping. Just wait until SLP gets a hold of the Camaro, dumbass.

Funny how Ford saves money by letting others do their R&D (Eaton) and makes money by badgeing their vehicles w/ the name of a legend (Shelby). BTW Shelby does not make the Mustang, and the engine is a blown 5.4 (a cheaper and better way to obtain power, they're also soooo easy and cheap to mod) Did I mention the Stang Had a 75hp, and 2mpg advantage over the SRT8 before it was upgraded. SLP? That's cool cuz the super Snake makes up to 725hp, and Steeda Q's are Corvette and Nissan GTR killers...

the cobra emblem in the grille should be on the other side...imo anyway. i think it looks backwards now. other than that the front looks sick, and the back (minus the tailights) looks good. and the engine is obviously better.

yeah ford needs to work on reducing weight on all the mustang models, with the shelby they can work on ditching the 5.4 motor. it would be nice to have the 5.0's back.

1) My comment was saying the new mustangs all weigh at least 3500 with a driver (3401 for base v6 coupe). This means the base model weighs at least 3500 with a driver (unless its a 98 pound driver).
2) 2 tons=4000 pounds, and 3500+ describes 4000, so even if i was referring to only the gt500, i still would have been right.
