There is NO evidence to show that poor people have an inferior ability to delay gratification. It makes logical sense that people who use quick highs become poor, BUT it is actually people who are already poor who use the quick highs because they have discovered that our society (especially corrupt Mexico) does not provide equal opportunity for success.

I'm Mexican but I moved to the US due to work. When I hear that the richest man in the world is Mexican, far from feeling myself proud I feel ashamed. This weasel has make his fortune buying politicians and lawmakers to keep his monopoly untouched. He is not like the other rich guys in the world that make his fortune in free competition, he make it in unlawful game. Poor my compatriots, this money this thief has belong to them all. This sir has nothing to teach us about success. Shame on him!

He needs to do some research and learn to appreciate the value of Slim as a Mexican Businessman who creates jobs and helps to build infrastructure in Mexico. Get some information about all the programs and agencies which help people, especially from marginal areas. He owns businesses of all kinds not just cell companies. Many developing companies are experiencing a growth in the amount of its billionares and this is an example.

He thinks this way: “You are just a dumb consumer and I have your government backing me up on this” He is not a billionaire by merits; he earns money by buying off, cheats and steals other patents to label them his own especially in the telecommunications business. True businesses even have a culture and can have tolerance to a fair competition, but this guy Carlos Slim makes sure to buy off the federal government and a broad media in order to get reachability and all benefits.
