  • thanks for posting this! Too bad the camera person did not get some shots of Sim on drums as he was a monster. Actually , that line up was devastating. This is not an unruly crowd! holy crap, every Rollins show had bodies flying. I remember one show where there were always at least 3 kids flying off the stage at once. At one point he caught one of them in mid-dive by the back of his shirt and held him there suspended and said "dive all you want just do not ouch the singer" .

  • I am smiling so much my head hurt. I am way too excited. Every time I see Henry on stage I don't know if he's going to fight you or fuck you or both..Drool literally came out of my mouth at 9:07...hehehehe...Damn him..ahahahaha

  • great footage , as for unruly...eh..thats just tuesday night for hank back then.

  • Do it Do it Do it

  • 'Do It' is a cover of a Pink Fairies tune...look it up here on youtube

  • Got a peek at 9:07! LOL

  • omg that was the best orgasm iv ever had

  • Like this if:

you enjoyed when tubby got thrown on and off the stage

    LOL

  • I thought Henry was gonna kill that dude that got on his stage. I like how he tears his shirt off and throws his ass off.

  • That's not unruly that's a good show.

thumbs down for a very misleading title

  • @DrPoon Cry cry cry

  • i miss the aggression of young rollins. its not his fault, people age and mature. and while he does work to make up for it with sheer energy at his shows, his not the same. happens to everybody...

  • Like? Freaking Luv It!!

  • I fell like Kickin somebody's ass after this song

  • @doobydevilbrotha1 then hello! you're an asshole. bye!

  • i was at this show...it fukkin KILLED!

  • these songs rule old son. rollins is god. so fack up.

  • i can only support that. i saw it live, it was so bad ass, one of the best concerts ever. of course the recording doesnt sound that great, but whatever.

  • these songs are the ethose, the psyclogy, the DNA of milions upon millions of us, we who were there. We happy few, we bands of brothers. We had the guts to DO IT

  • @mmmm12134 snoooooooze

  • these songs own

  • this is soooo cool

  • check out his junk slamming around in those thin shorts.

  • it be nice if someone could upload some good audio versions of this albums songs

  • blood and skin

  • HENRY ROLLINS IS GOD!

  • this video is actually from 11/2/90, not 1/2/90...i was there...that's my pal Michael up in Henry's face...

  • you're right. Gotta fix that.

  • @notsaved i saw them live at vilar de mouros festival 2000, in portugal, they are great live!!!

  • i love how Henry is his own security staff. He should wear a yellow jacket.

  • righteous!

  • haha maynard keenan kinda moved like henry on stage

  • I wonder if all these people saying Do It was The Rollins Band's best song know that its a cover... i will say Rollins does do a kickass version though!!

  • I know it's a cover, but it just fits Rollins to a tee. He and the band truly made it their own. My favorite pre-workout song.

  • Pink Faries ,I think.

  • Pink Fairies, absolutely, my friend.

  • the last 4 songs of silence were epic.

  • TRUE

  • 6.33. Do It. The best Rollins Song ever.

  • Do It is my favorite pre-work out song. Such a killer track.

  • I can't help but watch Rollins band videos and say: "man..henry really wishes he was Iggy Pop."

  • rollins isn't anywhere near as spastic. influenced by? yes.copying? no

  • wow maybe in the movements but far from in music plus i think rollins is a far better at writing lyrics then MR.pop

  • Rollins music is far better

  • maynard......................gay

  • cosmokramer1982...........boring b iatch

  • what do you want fucker?

  • HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH he tossed the tool in the bandana

  • WHADDYA DO!!!!????

  • And one End of Silence is worth a thousand Undertows

  • Probably the best comment in this whole section.

The only people who would disagree are the kids with the black fingernails and bondage pants.

  • Yeah I like Tool, great musicians, seen them live a couple of times they were pretty good, does nothing for me emotionally though...Rollins on the other hand: Plumbing the depths of isolation, so you don't have to. Legend!

  • wow stfu rollins band is cool but tool is not garbage... rollin cant compare to the vocals of maynard, the drums in rollins band cant touch daney's drums, the fact that adam jones creates his own music videos... justin's bass lines in 10,000 days... dont even try to compare. also, if rollins is so great, why cant he stay in one band? obviously because of band issues. so ya, go rollins band go. tool is still rockin and henry has to babysit on a show.

  • FUCK GAY TOOL! ROLLINS KICKS THEIR ASS SINCE THE FUCKIN' '80 so SHUT THE FUCK UP ASSHOLE.

  • Although scothar is an idiot, you're really no more bright. Every member of Tool is probably more skilled at their instrument than every member of the Rollins band. Danny Carey could probably play ALL the fucking instruments better than the members. Rollins band rocks hard, though.

  • I like Tool and all, but come on. All the Rollins dudes have either jazz training or have played around New York with jazz musicians. Carey will probably end up a great jazz drummer when he gets too old to rock, but Jones and Chancelor are above average rock players at best. How many solos has Jones taken vs Chris Haskett?

  • Spot on my man!

  • Sorry dude,

Henry Rollins has been rocking way longer than Maynard has. Go listen to some Black Flag records.

He's always been animated like that too, it's not an imitation, it's the real thing.

  • yeah! and while your at it check some old Bad Brains clips and let HR blow you away!

  • What a retard! Tool opened for Rollins Band before they were even signed (and listen for Henry on Undertow-Bottom).

  • Oh, and, check the date fool...1990!

  • Tool, what? It's 90 here, and it's Henry fucking Rollins.

  • Wow. The singer even appears on a fucking Tool song, just to tip off your ignorance.

Tool wouldn't even sound 100% the same if it wasn't for Henry Rollins joining Black Flag. I'm not saying they were a major influence on the band directly, but they were THAT important of a band in the evolution of alternative music.

  • Henry fucking Rollins........ he's a sex god.

  • merle is gangsta

  • IS MERLE GGALLINS'S BROTHER? I LIKE THIS POWER HARDFUL LIFE EXPERIENCE MAN! GREAT SHOW AND GREAT PERFORMANCE! LIFE AND HARDTIME..................I HAVE SEEN ca. 1000 concerts with ca. 10.000 bands....but BLACK FLAG and HENRY ROLLINS are one with this specially intensive performnaces that others could never get...

  • I was at this show at the Marquee in NYC. Definitely in the top 10 of the 1000's of shows I've seen. (I work at a live music venue). BTW this video was originally filmed by Merle Allin (G.G.s brother).

  • 6.33. Do It. The best Rollins Song ever. I wish they didn't labour so much with the rest of the stuff but thats life huh.

  • was this at the limelight in NYC?

  • This was the the Marquee in NYC

  • nice one, must have been an awesome gig - thanks for the upload

  • I bet he ate a whole chicken before stepping out, the loveable lunkhead

  • haha is that guy trying to kiss him? henrys dancing style looks pretty goofy to me. but he rules anyway.

  • Thanks for posting this. This is priceless footage!

  • First Rollins song I ever heard. After hearing Black Flag 'Six pack'. Been a huge fan of each group ever since! Check his new stuff out. Now plays with a cool hard rock/blues band called Mother Superior. The best recent ROLLINS album is 'Get Some Go Again'. I don't know anyone who doesn't like it. Do yourself a favour and have a listen, even if you P2P download some tracks to evaluate it first, then buy it. You'll love it !!

  • He's not with Mother Superior anymore. Last year summer, there was a reunion of the 1994 lineup--HR, Sim Cain, Melvin Gibbs and Chris Haskett and Theo Van Rock--opening for X.

  • Yes indeed. So it seems. Still, thanks Mother Superior and ROLLINS for giving us the best hard rock album of the new millenium - G.S.G.A. Puts all the lame ass new rock bands (Foo Fighters / Creed etc), wanna be punks (Good Charlotte / Simple Plan, Green Day of course), plastic manufactured pop (anything top 40), hip hop (all) and all nu metal rubbish in its rightful place; Last!

  • I'm sorry, but foo fighters is pretty good and not only dave grohl acknowledges the importance of punk and 80's hardcore, he was a part of the scene.

  • Yeah you are right man, and I regret including the Foo, bad call ! F.F are good value and I have some albums, and love "Monkey Wrench".

  • They're not THAT unruly....

  • I was at that show. There were fights everywhere. I still have some more stuff to post from this night.

  • Haha, OK, I'm sure there were fights. I was commenting on how nobody seemed to be throwing bottles and shit at Henry, or jumping up on stage.

  • Everyone love this song because it...

  • Thanks for posting.

  • hank was beening pretty melow no busting people in the head with the mic or getting kicked in the face or his hair pulled like at flag shows
