Saw Jackson in Nashville and Chattanooga on the latest solo acoustic tour and got to hear this for the first couple times ever. It bothers me when people say his music is "too political" because it's a close-minded reaction and what is music about if not stimulating our hearts and minds? Whether or not you agree with the message, modern music is in dire need of another Jackson Browne. Of course there's only one and he never stopped writing great songs. This is like Neil Young, but cooler!

Had the great fortune to see Jackson at the legendary Ryman Auditorium in Nashville doing a solo acoustic set. When he did this song it brought the biggest response of the evening. This song, along with Lives in the Balance, have become so relevant that Browne looks like a prophet.
