We currently have nine rescue dogs, and have had many others over the years. Blind dogs "see" things differently, of course, but in my opinion, their lives really are not altered in any major way. We currently have three blind dogs who do just fine, as long as, like the man said, you don't move the furniture.

Blind dogs are no more work than other dogs.

I run a dog and cat rescue out of my home in southern Indiana, and am so hopeless, at times, when I see so many animals abandoned...some because of the economic trials of their owners, and others for no reason at all. I thank Best Friends for the wonderful work you do, and for "being there" for these animals that need help.
