  • I've been planning on getting a harley for over 2 years now and I've had my mind set on this particular model for while now. But it just breaks my heart heart to see a woman doing a road test with it

  • Harleys definitely look the best, but I prefer something else out of my cruisers: non deafening sounds, low vibrations, comfort, power, and reliability just to name a few.

  • @seatboi ...what? I don't get it.

  • I wish she would ride my fat bob

  • The drive through the cemetery was kind of creepy.

  • why wud she ride through a cemetery ?

  • @salchipapa8000

It gives off the image of The Terminator. It also gives off the image that motorcycles are for badasses; She's a bad ass.

  • I like bikes...Thanks for the ride.

  • cute missy and a hot bike.

  • For you idiots who posted the comments about the cemetery riding, if you have to ask then you'll never understand... stick to your imports and rice-rockets and leave the James Dean slash greaser look to the people who do it well.

  • i never understood the concept of riding big american bikes in cemeteries rofl

  • Maybe its to do with how loud Harleys are & cemeteries being normally very peaceful & quite places.. i guess, i don't know lol

  • ma fate tacere questa lesbica del cazzo! non ha detto niente di utile della moto! vai a lavare i piatti troia!

  • Sweet looking bike, I rode my first Harley the other day, a totally built 137 Cubic inch monster... it was a blast! Certainly got me looking at Harley's.

  • try suzukii haybusa and ull shit ur pants xD

  • she obviously hasn't heard of 'harley denim paint'

  • I bought an XL1200 last summer. And I love it,it`s the first bike that I have owned that oozes with personality. And I can hardly wait to tour France on it this summer.

  • I love my XL1200, too! I know I'm supposed to want a bigger one soon, but I really like it!

  • In the UK we get ridiculously forward-ed footpegs ...a shite numberplate fixture and no natty exhaust ...and a 10% price increase ...Cheers to Harley D Uk ... total tossers! Enjoy the sales drop guys!

  • I just picked one of these up. It is a bad ass bike. It's got alot of low end and handles like a dream.

And to all the Harley hating metrics guys out there, Have any of you guys actualy driven a new Harley? I went from a Honda Shadow to this and there is NO comparison in any aspect. And about the price, it is buy no means cheep but a new VTX 's were about the same if not more. I saw a few 1800's new for 10k but they were left over 2006's.

Dont get me wrong I hondas are great bikes.

  • It really shows that you need to get out of your cave more often,Sweatsack. I don't see that happening because 12 miles later you'll be calling for a towtruck for that "high mileage" bike you "have".

You driving that wonderbread van to keep the pipedream alive, good luck with that,Sweatsack

  • You buy a bike because it looks good? It's a cruiser bike,it goes down the road and you hit the powerband. The choice is a high price gouge and high maintain costs of a harley vs. low price with low maintain costs of a honda.

RIde what you like but don't lose your house over it...

  • God. What is all this high maintenance you speak of on harleys? I have a softail with 52k on it, bought it brand new, service it myself, change my own tires.... never been to the dealer. Same goes for my Road King with 63,000k on it. My bikes have NEVER been to the dealer since the day i purchased them. Why would they?

  • Yawn....and obama has a money tree in back of the white house for you to pick fresh 100s anytime,ha!

  • obama can go to hell, and im sure that if nothing has happened yet, it wont. Its proved its dependability, your bike probably wont break down cause you only put 300 miles a year on

  • Furthermore.... a brand new VTX costs $14,899 Base MSRP (via Honda's website) the Harley Fat Bob in this video's MSRP is $14,999. A whopping $100.00 more dollars. A softail Fat boys MSRP is $15,999, a whopping $1,100 more than the honda, and that is a very comparible bike. I think you should get your facts straight before you speak.

  • M109r brand new $10,000 120hp...at the store. Right now nobody can touch 120hp stock for that price

fat boy has the same riding style of alot of metric cruisers but with less hp,i've tried the whole HD line. Some a little heavy and could use a little more hp, liked the CVO...but not much difference in hp either.

Sorry for expecting my bikes to have more then 70hp stock

Don't expect not have your HD motor rebuilt at 22,000 miles kids 18 to 20 if you beat on it

  • tbmore59 doesnt know what he's talking about. 63k on my Road King with nothing more than oil changes and tires.

  • just checked out the M109r, i dont care if it comes with 300 hp and 500 ft lbs and costs 200 bucks, GAG PUKE! It looks like an aliens afterbirth

  • but neither does 16 GRAND and 70 hp stock for a fat boy.

sorry looks matter so much to wonderbread delivery van driver like yourself,ha!

  • VTX is another bike with 100+hp

could pick that up at the store for about 9 grand, 8500 if it leftover. Brand new bike!

  • if i wanted a bike to drag race i'd build a drag bike, fuckin moron. i bet your about 22 years old.

  • whats with the wonderbread delivery van driver comments? is that supposed to be clever? Every thing you say makes you sound like a bigger fool.

  • You cant ever conpair those bikes like that.... And i hate to tell you this the fat bob base is 15,499 msrp...

  • oh yeah? i got the Msrp from harleys website 2 seconds before i posted that.

  • nerd that i'll i have to say about some one that rides a honda daividson

  • More harleys for the yuppies to ride. How about that Rocker somebody threw together with spare parts in the shop. Try again and start off with making a bike that's lighter in weight and price with more hp. Then it might be worth it. Til then your credit card loves seeing you buy parts

  • agree'd, too many yuppies on the road. BUT, heavy bikes are GOOD for real riders, and the new bikes are very dependable. Much more so than say a Honda

  • So sad to take a cross country trip with a harley and be the next innocent victim of expensive maintenance costs at the dealership. Take a honda cross country and change the oil yourself.

Most people know better to stay away from that type of legalized highway robbery.

Most people are holding on to their money nowadays for fear of not having a job.

  • why would you have to take a harley to the dealer to change the oil? Thats stupid. They take no more, if not less maintenance than a metric bike. I guess i dont understand where you are getting your info.

  • i guess your too busy driving your wonderbread delivery van cross country then riding across.

  • Tried one out after getting off my vrod.

NO brakes to speak of. Shook like a fat bitch on tick over, and ran off down the road like one too. Still the same old harley mix tho... from those good ol' boys spare parts bucket. Same ol' ,same ol'.

  • Those of you considering trading up to a new model... DONT! i just made that mistake. 96" engines are built cheaper, are not as smooth, have shitty crank bearings, MPG sucks, and the 6 speed is a joke. they idle like a Honda, and the 08 and newer bikes idle is on a speed sensor so it wont idle down until the bike completely stops (i find this dangerous) Harleys changes are for the worse, stick with a 88" engine and build off of that, you'll have a much better bike. Been there, done that!

  • i'd rather ride da bitch talking than this chit hog!

  • muy buena loco muy buena, ya voy a tener una asi y voy a recorrer el mundo

  • Harley r starting to make some good looking bikes. I like two new models Harley have brought out - the Fat Bob and the XR1200 both aimed at the European market. Its good that the company is expanding its range. As for the Sportsbikers comments, yes Harleys will never be sportsbikes but there not meant to be..

I have gone from riding a Harley to a sportsbike to a vintage classic all different rides all very different but great at what they do...stop bitching and just enjoy motorcycling..!

  • errrr.... no

jap bikes are at the highest stage of engineering in the motorbike industry.

the most power efficient, fastest and most reliable machines out there...

    what sucks, is your english

  • Very true. And they sound like a hair dryer. Therefore, they suck. To Harley lovers, it's about sound and comfort, not speed or efficiency. That's just the way it is, as stupid as it may sound to you. So... move on.

  • Why would you buy some cheap crap.. Something that looks like a harley ..You want a harley you buy one...You want a rocket then thats what you go out and buy.. I just dont like the harley look a likes.. I ride harley myself and love the fat bob..

  • are you saying that japanese super sport bikes look like harleys?

I never wanted anything cheap or any bike that imitates another.

I want the litrebikes for their performance

sorry, i just didnt quite understand what exactly you were arguing with

  • Not at all... No what i'm saying is the jap bikes that look like harleys suck... Thats why i said if you want a harley ...If you want a harley stly bike you buy a harley not a honda davidson.. I like rockets also.. But i have a harley and love it....

  • oh yea i never said i liked those jap bikes that look like harleys tho haha

  • If that is true, be4realyo, then why did Japan happen to make their cruisers look very much like the King? Harley is an American icon. Nobody drools over a Japanese cruiser. They say, yeah, it's nice, but it ain't a Harley.

  • You gotta laugh when the rice riders get on here and try to explain that their oriental harley imitations are just as good as a real harley. These are the same guys that buy a fake rolex and try to explain that japanese movement is just as good as the real swiss made rolex.

  • i like harleys

    but also love jpa bikes

and to your comment i have only one reply

    hayabusa

    (yes its a cruiser)

  • All Harleys are the same. Slow, under powered, over priced and way over rated.

  • You are so right!

  • Don't you think you should mention the dual head light set up? That paint is fuggly!!

I really think the LA Times should find a new reporter. She would do good reporting on Hybrid cars, not Harleys!!

  • women that ride are hot

  • its a wideglide with mid controls and different front wheel and bars - thats it

  • she is so not-cool

  • Hey everyone, it "Handles really well!". VS what? A moped?

  • Guess you have never taken one for a ride!

  • yes he did. he has three eyeballs.

  • would that be a tri-clops? ha ha ha. how would moe from the stooges like that? 3 finger eyepoke!

  • Why do women do car and bike reviews? It just doean't fit. This woman should be doing a review for a blender, or a washing machine.

  • Nice. I saw another review she'd done for the CBR & ZX 600 cc bikes, looked like she was a better rider than most out there. Before you go into all that old school, blue collar banter, you ought to look at the country of origin label on all that crap you get all walmart... it ain't made by white men in america making a living wage w/benes. So welcome to the new bush/clinton/bush amerika. Personally, I enjoy seeing a female couple riding their Harleys... perhaps you'd like to do their wash?

  • chhmcom

    No!

  • I have to agree, it feels like my mum is explaining it to me. No passion.

  • i have to say, you hit the nail on its head, no passion.

  • Grow up. Lot's of women ride.

  • i am on this site for the cartoons and jackasses. which one are you?

  • aaronjam99 seems to be searching for cartoons and jackasses LOL can anyone help him out, or perhaps help him get a life LMAO

  • the only difference between a vaccum cleaner and a harley is, on the harley the dirt bag is located on the outside!

  • I looked at your channel. Your a 35 year old collecting cartoons on your page... lol

  • wow thats just sad... almost feel sorry for him

  • aaronjam99

I own a harley, but still you cracked me up!

  • its all in good fun. right?

  • yeah it is!

  • as long as honda riders like you buy it i,ll sell it--you need to hunt down whoever told you you look good in pantyhoise-

  • these are merely jounalists who have had lessons on how to ride motorcycles-it,s not their life-it,s just work-these people,s opinions will only concern the cattle that read their rags.

the FXDF will be a great bike for harley.

happy 105th harley-and respect for using so many JAPANESE components,it,s this willingness to diversify but stay true to making the same bike for over 100 years that makes harley UNIQUE-here,s to the next 100

  • harleys are like caddiliacs, big, shiney, overpriced and problematic.

  • theonlymachine

I've had over 15 bikes. Two were Harlies. And those two have been the most reliable ones. The others were BMW, Norton, Honda, Yamaha, Kawazaki. I'm not knoking Jap bikes. I love them too. But to say Harley is not reliable, it's just not true.

  • The bikes are heavy, but have great handling. I've ridden every current model of HD and thay are all very rideable.

I currently ride a Buell so I can see mickster's point.

She was not 100% accurate, but it's not important.

I found it funny that she chose to ride through a cemetary.

  • Good review?? There would be more enthusiasm if she was trying to sell be a loaf of bread

  • Good review, but aren't these freakin heavy machines? I prefer less weight and more power.

  • around 700lbs but handles very well

  • My bike is about 540lbs with all fluids and a full tank of gas.

  • Amazing moto, huh!
