BWAHAHA you're doing it backwards.

Really, look at yourself at the beginning of the video and notice how the dark shading on either side of your nose is what gives it it's shape and width appearance. So if you make the line down the top lighter and the sides darker, it looks thinner. Mostly, if you're darkening the front of your nose- you're actually making it look flatter.

u should use darker on the sides and highlighter down the midle of the nose, thats contouring ur nose. the other way around from what u did..
