Look back at chapter 23, ( W23 at 0:20-0:57) we see that Nate speaks to this (anecdotally).
It seems that (for Nate) in a way, history is repeating itself. Nate is in a "baby makin' "situation, finding out that the guy doesn't want kids, etc . What if (instead) he got her pregnant & he still didn't want to know anything else about her ? What then? Lone wolf & Cub ? This series is very interesting and dynamic. It is interesting to see Nate's Journey through the world. Great.
I hope that Nate finds the right guy, gets married, and lives happily ever after. Also, I hope that Bunny takes her meds, so that she can continue being an effective part of the best assassin team ever. :)
