  • guess thats why they call it a "fire" bird

  • FIREbird

  • good way to toast your catalytic converters. still sick though

  • @pilot92193

My system isn't like the AutoCroc kits on Flea Bay....

It uses fuel solenoids that injects fuel into the tailpipes, so it has no adverse effects on the engine or cats.

  • @98snakeeater Thats cool! thats kind of what I had figured, but I wasnt totally sure. how much did it cost to do this? and is it possible for you to get those sleek, fast moving blue flames with this kit?

  • @pilot92193

Flame type depends on a lot of things (exhaust pressure, pipe size, fuel atomization, etc.)

For jet like blue flames running on gasoline, you pretty much just need pee shooter pipes and high exhaust pressure.

However, you can get the same type of flames running propane, regardless of pipe size.

That being said, I was running 3.5" pipes on this T/A, so there was lots of volume with low exhaust pressure that gave me large burst type flames.

  • ha i was watching ur vid with the gamo whisper and is that a .22 cal? and nice firebird man! and when u say snake eater do u mean like the mustang cobras?

  • @TheDylan222222

    No, it's a .177 cal

    As for the name, yes....

The first time I took her to the track, they lined me up against 2 Viper R/T's and a modded Cobra.

I beat them all and the announcer called me the "Snake Eater" over the P.A.

Been stuck with the name ever since.

  • @98snakeeater cool my dad has a 94 gt 5.0 that was mine but i gave it 2 him and i got the gamo big cat .22 cal and thats a awesome gun!

  • is it bad for your vehicle?

  • @lilbiggy73

It's only bad for the vehicle behind you

  • dont want to be behind you at traffic lights

  • Too much NOX maybe...? Hahaha

  • Haven't had a problem with melting the bumper?

  • Nope

During initial testing, it was rich enough to leave a black sooty residue, but it was easily wiped off.

Once I had it tuned with smaller jet, she burned clean without any soot.

I pulled the system when I sold the car about a year ago.

  • where did you get that kit?? send me a message..also how much does it cost

  • It's not a kit, I built it myself (shoot me an email)

  • nice. hey........it is a FIRE bird isn't it? haha nice car dude 5 stars.

  • cool! we have a junk 1920s car in our yard, we want to build it up as a rat and want to put flamethrowers on it! nice car again!

  • Are you cutting your ignition to do that?

  • Nope, unlike the AutoCrock and other systems sold on Fleabay, mine has both independant ignition and fuel injection systems...

This was just a tuning session, but after going with smaller jets, I got clean burning 7 foot flames, even while racing.

  • awesome

  • the FS forum won't let me reply to your blog becuase it is awaiting approval....ok

  • whoa whoa whoa... i just realized you said 306ci SBC down there... 306?... HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

  • my neighbor has a 71 chevelle that he is trying to make it an SS clone and he used to have a 306 small block out of a 79 el camino and a th350 trans to go along with......why is that funny?

  • Why don't you do a little search on Google for a "306 SBC" and find out for yourself?

  • why?

  • chevrolet didn't make a 306ci small block. the only motor option available for a 71 near that would have been a 307 if I remember correctly.

  • the motor and trans came out of a 79 el camino from a junk yard and he told me it was a 306ci.

  • my bad it was a 305ci small block chevy. sorry guys

  • That makes more sense..

The 305 (sbc) and 307(olds) were both readily available in that era and both horrid turds lol

  • ha ha hey i'm a FS member now yay.

  • ...and now you're not. We're laughing at your horrible, crushing insult to us on your profile, by the way.

  • The little bastard goes and reads on FS but can't respond because he knows he can't factually back up anything he has said thus far.

  • actually i can't respond because i'm not a member....

  • Join up. Say hello... READ and keep your mouth shut. You might learn a thing or 11ty.

  • ok i'll join...how?

  • hey mike it's mark you don't know me but i'm thinking about coming to the corner sometime and bringing the cobra, anyways from my knowledge i heard you blocked that young kid. i say we let him back on and see what happends from there.

  • wow your cool talking smack on the internet

  • i agree with mark!

  • i just don't see why a bunch of grown men are basically beating on this kid for his lack of knowledge. if this was my son and i knew who was doing this lets just put it this way, they would leave you alone. rick and mike i'm sure you guys are nice guys but c'mon give this dumb kid a break!

  • It's not his lack of knowledge or lying about what he drives that bothers me, it's the fact that he gives others advice about something he clearly knows nothing about... Also, lying about working for Lamotta as a "Mustang Specialist" (his words) could've very well caused Jake some business by showing his knowledge (or lack of)

  • sorry!!!

  • BTW.....that chevelle i wanted is powered by a 302ci 5.0L motor out of a foxbody mustang cause the original 306ci SBC was junk.

  • wow are you and your little fuel slut buddies gonna come to my house and take turns raping me? what the hell are you putting my myspace url on the fuelslut blogs for!!! anyways the hellion cobra is my fathers not mine but i get to drive it and the 99 GT is mine. and the chevelle my neighbor is selling it on craigs list and i wanted it at the time cause it was metallic blue like our cobra. i think thats funny though how you posted this on your forum. and my father got me the job at lamotta. :)

  • I posted it there because your clueless comments are pure comedy gold!!

Having shown your mechanical expertise here, one could only think Jake has you sweeping the floors...

  • stuntrider15

"like i said mustang specialist, i don't work on shit camaros and any other GM cars!!!"

...yet you want a '71 Chevelle? Which company made those, hmm?

Just quit while you're behind, Jr. Better off sticking to Pokemon.

  • actually i like xbox better and call od duty 5 but what ever. and yeag big whoop GM!!!

  • stuntrider, you're fundamentally retarded and your father should have thrown your mother down a flight of stairs late in her term so you could be bled out in chunks.

you're a mathematically failure; an obvious product of florida's fantastic public school system.

    1 liter = 61.0237441 cubic inch

6 liters is roughly 366 cubic inches. It is mathematically IMPOSSIBLE to have a 6.0L 406, 412, 4whateverthefuckyouthinkyouhaveanddont.

  • really? 6.0L LS2 GTO with a stacked intake makes it 412ci. look up the youtube vid!

  • so now an intake manifold adds cubic inches? do you even know what poartion of the motor displacement measures?

    /facepalm

  • do you even know how to spell portion?

  • i'm sorry i threw in an extra vowel. i won't charge you for it.

it's pretty obvious you don't know shit about cars. you can't even keep your bullshit straight. one second the cobra is your fathers, you leave other comments claiming it's yours, you say your 17, myspace says your 16...

  • umm...big whoop i'll be 17 in february wow, 3 months. and yes i do know SHIT!!! about cars. feel tough for taking on a 16 year old about car knowledge? when your 25 and you probably know more about engines and other shit?

  • So if I probably know more than you.. why are you arguing with me? Or him... or anyone? Quit being a dense moron and do more reading and less talking and you might end up looking like less of an idiot and earn a bit of respect. Or are you more apt to argue for the sake of arguing which will probably wind up with you being some dude's bitch?

  • LOL

I take it youtube is where you base all your mechanical knowledge (or lack of)?

  • ha ha nope. i don't know anything about the LS1 and so on engines. all i know is my friends camaro started life as a 5.7L LS1 and he says its 406ci now so i beleived him. and i only know about mustangs from my father and grandfather. i don't really study or attempt to learn anything about chevy unlike you who must certainly be an expert on GM muscle cars.

  • So you have no issue spewing bullshit on something you admittedly no little to nothing about? I bet you'd argue black holes with Stephen Hawking based on information you get from your acne infected sword fighting friends, eh?

  • what the hell are you talking about? i'm not some little nerd. i don't want to brag and i'm not trying to now but i am gonna defend myself agianst this aragant prick! i am not a nerd i'm a 16 year old kid thats likes to have fun i go to boone high school and i'm on the varsity football team, i run my GT at the speedworld every weekend out their with my neighbor Brian Blake's 9 sec 86 purple foxbody mustang he gives me advice and tell me what i'm doing wrong. i have a girlfriend too and she races

  • Brian is definitely a guy you should be listening to...

However, in an instance where you don't know what you're talking about you should definitely keep your mouth shut and stick tor eading and learning. It's fundamental you know?

  • you know him too?

  • Again, what does this have to do with the basic concept of displacement?

If you have a Ford 5.0 V8 and your "friend" tells you it's a 351ci, would you believe him then as well?

  • wouldn't that be a 5.4?

  • a 5.4 is roughly 330ci

  • see i learned something new

  • 331ci to be exact

  • No, it wouldn't, but since you're the "mustang specialist", why don't you tell me what it is?

  • 5.8L

  • Very good

    351ci = roughly 5.8L

We say "roughly" because the numbers are usually rounded up by manufacturers to make them sound bigger than what they really are (this goes for all makes including GM and Ford)

  • i never knew that. thanks! but see i'm starting to learn

  • what the crap is a mustang specialist?

  • i guess it's everyone and the fuel slut forum apparently!

  • SICC AS FUCK!!

  • is this a kit???

  • Not really a kit, it's sumthin I've been installing on cars over the last 13 years using leftover parts in my shop, but it's nothing like the universal kits you see floating around on EBay....

  • i have flowmaster dual 40's.

what parts would i need to get this shooting?

  • Too many parts to list and they differ fom car to car, so email me for more info...

  • dude ur car is so sick i think without u pontiac wouldn't be what it is today with this car

  • dus the new owner get this to?

  • The system has been removed for the sale, however, all of the switches and wiring will remain...

The relays, solenoids and braided lines will be available to the new owner upon request...

  • looks and sounds mean!!so who fucken cares if itx illegal shit thats cool!!

  • man, get one of those and a mustang pulls up behind you, and torch it!!!

  • i am a mustang owner but the comment that heihachi left was just stupid. trans ams will blow mustangs away unless you have a cobra with new exhaust and pulleys you could put up a good fight. anyways i love the car but i just don't have 14,5 laying around to buy it. i am also firends with the macnamara family and i remember when the got these back at the dealership when it was still around. beautiful man!!!

  • stuntrider15 look, your comment too is as stupid as u saying your a Mustang owner??? U disgrace to FORD everyone.... dude, stop talking, your making a ass of yourself.

  • ok whatever you say, my friend has a 2001 camaro ss 5.7L LS1 406ci V8 chevy stock hp rated 325hp. i own a couple of mustangs and one happens to be a 99 GT 4.6L 281ci V8 stock horsepower rated 260hp. he has full exhaust and an LS6 intake. i have full exhaust and a Bullitt intake. his is a 6-speed mine's a 5-speed. on a 40 roll he walks allover me. would you still like to say that a stock gt can beat a camaro? my cobra on the other hand has a hellion kit and i beat anything with it.

  • Still a SLOWmaro at the end of the day dude...

Stick with the Cobra, & u wont go wrong buddy...

My friend has 99 camaro, dumbass lost control racing, piece of shit car, he hit a pole that thing is totaled!!! I'm gonna tell him to upgrade to a Terminator, a real car asses, how about it?

BUILT FORD RAPING SLOWmaros & SLOWbirds ALL DAY!!!

  • have you ever seen the video on youtube of a cobra that lost control racing and hit a tree at about 60-65mph anf that guy totaled it? it's not about who makes the car it's about the right tires you put on it buddy. and i also thought i would tell you this in 2010 when i graduate i'm getting rid of my mustangs to get the all new camaro!!!

  • U sad dude...

Keep the stang because it got potential!!!

Get a camaro, u'll regret it & be SLOWmaro by the end of the day...

  • Your friend has a 5.7L 406ci V8???

How is this even possible?? LOL

  • ha ha oh my bad, i think it's a 6.0L lol ha ha.

  • 6.0L still wouldn't make 408ci

  • your right it would make it a 406ci

  • Umm, no it wouldn't

    406ci = roughly 6.65+ Liters

  • dude an LS1 is a 5.7L and its a 406ci sbc. a LS2 is a 6.0L and is a 412ci sbc. a LS7 is a 7.0L and is 427ci sbc. what are you talking about?

  • LOL

Please pass me whatever it is you're smoking...

    An LS1 is 5.7L (roughly 346ci), an LS2 is a 6.0L (364.5ci)...

    It's basic math...

Stop pulling numbers out of your ass because you're only contributing to self ownage...

Sure, you can get an LS1 block with a larger displacement of 406ci, but it WON'T be 5.7L anymore...

    Does this make sense now?

If not, you should look up a Metric Liter to Cubic Inch calculator and inform yourself before posting any further...

  • then why is a stock 2006 GTO with a LS2 6.0 412ci. go look it up genius!!!

  • I doesn't...

Didn't they teach you basic math at Boone?

    6.0L = 364ci (roughly)

    A stock LS2 GTO has a 6.0L (again, 364ci)

It DOES NOT come with a 412ci motor (412ci would be roughly 6.7+ Liters if you're wondering)

I see you have Lamotta Performance listed under companies...

PLEASE tell me Jake didn't hire you as a "mustang specialist" if you don't understand the basic concept of displacement??

  • like i said mustang specialist, i don't work on shit camaros and any other GM cars!!!

  • i only work on mustangs and their motors man. i don't work on cars that i'm not familiar with.

  • What does that have to do with knowing basic displacement?

The same concept works for mustang engines as well in case you didn't know...

  • Domestic rice? You need to gtfo, son.

  • domestic rice?

  • Illegal= FUN

  • Isn't that illegal?

  • james bond right there
