  • Hey what screen recorder are you using? Very nice youtube channel/website, just discovered you looking for the VI.ONE plugin. Thanks very much for your videos, dope stuff!

  • @FMGProductions100 thanks for the support, I use camtasia

  • I can't load the library I put the the vst into the library.. but when i open the player PLAY I don't know where to find them... to play on my controller... could you help me please... thanks anyways...

  • @Bennmusicmaster go into the library browser and you can add your location of the library files to the favorites. On the left side in the browser.

  • hi Friend.... I 've got a message when o load a sound ( it says memory low, I press next next despite the message but the sound screw up itself....... i have another problem the main mask you have is totally different of the one i have.... do you used the mac osx platform?

  • @Bennmusicmaster I am running this on a pc, not sure, how much ram do you have?

  • can i find it demo for free? and where?

  • @TheROCKTOO you can try try-sound but other than that, no demos

  • ****The knobs on the plays player screen such as frequency, decay, pan etc do not automatically map to my akai midi.....Its weird because the piano keys on play automatically map to my akai midi piano keys once i hit settings click on midi and checked my midi controller.....How to i get the knobs and faders on plays player screen to map to my akai midi controller?

  • @daedae11203 right click and select map/learn

  • @SoundsAndGear were do i right click,, could you be more specific please,,, because i went to settings and checked my midi,, so the piano keys work but i cant mapp the knobs of play to my midi

  • @daedae11203 on the knob you want to control

  • @SoundsAndGear i right click but nothing pops up,,,im on a macbook pro if that helps

  • @daedae11203 maybe they aren't mappable directly, in that case, you need to map them up using your DAW automation options. I just tried it again and it doesn't appear you can map directly in the interface so it would be up to how you handle mapping in your daw.

  • @SoundsAndGear

1 last quuestion,,, which daw do u use that allow you to mapp by double clicking because i use ableton

  • @daedae11203 ableton should let you map automation, as well as most others, I don't actually map anything when using the Play engine myself.

  • EWQL RA vs. DRUMS OF WAR 2?

  • @pauloraskolnikov Not comparable imo as they are not the same type of libraries. Do you want a bunch of drums and percussion (drums of war) or do you want percussion as well as various other ethnic instruments (Ra). Out of the two I would choose Ra personally, but again, they aren't even similar products really.

  • @SoundsAndGear How would you describe SD2? I have no East West Plug-ins

  • @HectorAndresMayoral I have not used SD2 before, but seems like an epic percussion library

  • duduk sucks here .. the most important instrument i was lookin for

  • @fito8888 Colossus has a very Decent DUduk;)

  • my player looks much more ugly. why? there's written NIKompakt

  • @KrixPrix you have the older kontakt version, they created their own player and re released it a few years after the kontakt version

  • @SoundsAndGear can i get this for free or do i have to buy a newer version ?

  • @KrixPrix I believe you have to purchase the new version, I'm not sure as I didn't have the kontakt version previously

  • Will you be getting the new Discovery Series West Africa library from NI? Looks like another one of those auto-groove things like Scarbee Funk Guitarist, except for African instruments!

    Another great review, my man

  • @weaponEX I have it, review coming soon, if you're like me and you love ethnic stuff, it's a must have. Not just for the grooves, but the sounds themselves are really good, have a nice tone to them. I like that it's not just drums too, there's some dope winds in there lol

  • @SoundsAndGear Looking forward to it

  • This review sux

  • love your site man, helped me alot

  • @maroxx thanks for the support!

  • That koto sure wasn't koto ;) it sounded same as the instrument before it

  • @Vestu lol, thanks for watching.

  • I feel like it's not worth getting if you already have the Kontakt ethnic instruments.

  • @oralbcracka what kontakt ethnic instruments? You mean the ones they released in kontakt format? Yeah you're probably right, they are pretty much the same, but if you want the newer play engine that's the only way I guess. Many prefer the Kontakt version of the library though, I never got to try it.

  • Ra would be like my 9th pick from east west

  • @JSprayaEntertainment cool, thanks for watching

  • how can you make it usable in Logic 9? i have a blue interface version on mac, which works as a standalone, but NOT as a plugin in logic!...thanks

  • @tiddlywinks98712 it should work as an AU and not vst in logic

  • @SoundsAndGear yea i wish it did, but there's no sign of it anywhere..ahh well, thanks for trying.

  • nice !! can u share the update of the surface of RA "windows" ?? because i have an old version , but i have the content library , than you so much :)

  • @whigahipower not sure exactly what you'r e asking in regards to windows, what old version do you have? The kontakt version? This right here is the entire interface of the play version, what's in the video is what's there.

  • @SoundsAndGear i have the old version of RA ( the blue interface ) i just ask you how can i update this blue interface " for windows 7" ? because its hard to use it , i have all the nks's ( contents ) thank you

  • @whigahipower this is the "play" version, uses their own player I'm not sure if it is a simple upgrade from the kontakt version to this or if you have to actually purchase the updated version, you may want to check with them.

  • @whigahipower

I have the blue interface. Why? What must I do to have the same interface?

  • cool thanks for the answer finally going to get this.good tribal sounds it has on there.

  • @jungleecho yeah some nice stuff in there for sure

  • heyJoe would a mpd26 work with this?To use different drum sounds on the pads?

  • @jungleecho yeah mpd26 is just a midi controller so whatever you load up on your computer you should be able to play it. If you load up a drum kit then you will be able to play the drums on different pads just like you can on different keys of a keyboard.

  • @Chencho305 no doubt, thanks!

  • @Chencho305 it depends on what os you use, soundblaster always had that option, but it's sorta hit and miss, some internal cards can do it too

  • @Chencho305 you need to have an audio card/interface that allows you to record streaming audio or "what you hear"

yeah, quantum leap got some sick sound!!

  • thanks i'll check the list.

    thats cool it has didgeridoo.

I need this before the summer .thanks

  • @jungleecho stuff sounds pretty realistic in my opinion.

  • thanks for showing this one.

hopefully I can get this soon

it sounds sick but you already said that.did you see any udu drums in there?

  • @jungleecho yeah, there are some udu, I should have showed em lol, there's so much in here man it's not even funny. They have a list of what's all in there on their site.
