Maybe I was too hasty. I rated the actin and directin prettily low, but the more I think about it, it is probably the sound that leaves me flat, also the lightin. Maybe the castin, actin, and directin deserve a higher score, than I gave, to them, in an earlier comment. SPURN THE MUSE!!

With the room in rotogravure, I don't like the characters to be also in rotogravure, I would like to see them in spotlight, so they stand out. I don't know that much about lightin, but the characters seem to blend in to the background too much. It seems like the voiced don't stand out well, either. They sound like they are "in a room". I would rather hear more a directional capture of each voice. If you are a sound person, that probably makes sense to you what I am sayin.

Message zero, script (apart from message) 80, actin (castin) 68 (average), lightin bad. Plot is tops. Great plot. The settin is so dirty and full of missin paint and chipped masonry, it is not fun to be watched. The indoor scenes are "busy" often. I don't like the lightin. There is enough to keep my attention. Directin 80. The players don't stand out from the background both visually and in sound. SPURN THE MUSE!!
