  • horrid crowd

  • I think people are hating on your comment because you just compared one of the most influential progressive metal bands of this generation to Chiodos...a generic, screamo wannabe metal band...That sir...is why they are hating on your comment.

  • Oh man, Colors was way better than The Silent Circus...this album is brilliant...the great misdirect isn't too bad either...probably my second favorite behind this.

  • can someone tell me why everyone's hating on my comment? They jsut remind me of chiodos and yes, is there a problem? jeez

  • Yes, becuase chiodos is awful.

  • ur a fuckin faggot. please die

  • they are nothing like Chiodos.

  • @TDWPMegalomaniaTDWP I literally just listened to Chiodos and I agree with everyone else... please don't compare them with BTBAM. BTBAM covers so many different genres in their albums and they are NOTHING like generic bands such as Chiodos. Not saying Chiodos is bad but...

  • is this a picture or are they playing?

  • no. you're wrong.

  • get out

  • i love that the bass really sticks out

  • I am excited to see them and the faceless in september. I will definitley leave when in flames plays though.

  • The beginning reminds me a lot of Pink Floyd.

  • that was a good show i was there they played sun of nothing and the decade of statues it was the first time i heard the new songs the show was in august so the record had another month yet but they kicked so much ass boner chubs

  • Heavy Metal+Thrash Metal+Jazz+Blues+Death Metal= Between the Buried and Me

  • Prequel To the Sequel is like 80's metal in

    Drop C, ITS AWESOME!

  • I kindly disagree, on the 80's metal part, but it is awsome!

    BTW: C# standard

    :P

  • prequel to the sequel is in c# standard lol

and it's more like progressive metal/jazzcore and the such.. no matter what you call it between the buried and me is amazing

  • Comment removed

  • You forgot progressive metal.

  • that last comment was meant to be a reply to what erockerock238 said...

  • ahaha sorry bout that man...kinda got out of hand! =b

  • I don't think that they could be christians are they??

  • who cares what they are...they're an amazing band. end of story. religion in general makes people weird. it's all bullshit anyways.

  • your right religion is stupid....but being christian isnt being religious...its the exact opposite...

  • Ya, except Christianity IS a religion...sorry to say that 2/3 of the world disagrees with you :D

Anyway, when death metal bands say the are Christian everyone starts to hate them, so maybe they do it on purpose?

  • who knows man... but im gonna have to continue disagreeing with you about the christians...but no offense...=b

  • Well, to me, stuff like Buddhism doesn't really register to me as religion. It's pretty much just things to live buy to not be a dick to people. And the fat asian parts is more of an icon rather than a god, or maybe even an idol, like someone to look up to but not to worship

  • except for the fact that the fat asian guy is a retarded misconception of who buddah was which was anything but fat considering the story says that he meditated without food and water for an x amount of years so he would be as skinny as fuck

  • i kno u left this comment a long time ago but just had to respond i think it depends on wat u think im a christian myself i dont think its really a religion i think its just reading the bible and doing exactly wat it says unlike cathorics were they talk to the priests for forgiveness religion has so many rules that isn't in the bible but u kno thats my burger its whatever u think about it.

  • I Swear dude, BTBAM is a blessing to this Earth and our ears. I'm so glad each of their parents decided to conceive and that their genetics randomly produced them and their talents and that they met to produce music.

  • LOL. it sounds so funny when it's explained the way you just did. that's fucking priceless. haha.

  • I'm pretty sure i was at this show...and it's so fucking awesome

  • fag

  • Yeh, that's what it is.

  • yep.

  • i need a list of the most metal bands ever

  • decided to buy this album and am very glad i did. They blew me away, and they stll do, a very very very techical band, i'm always finding something knew in the album. MUST HAVE COLOURS

  • Vocalist is the only one into it. the people in the crowd arent even going that crazy

  • what you need to understand is that BTBAM is not a stage presence band. sure, they could jump around and act like every other heavy band, but the music matters more to them, and they'd rather play their music they way its supposed to sound rather than put on a good show. in the case of BTBAM, the majority of their fans come to hear them because they actually sound good live.

  • Not only that, but Tommy has enough stage presence for the whole band ^.^

  • Word dude. BTBAM's musik is perfect for long drives to where you can sit back and pick apart the song and just listen to the greatness.

  • there so fucking good live

  • "i cant hardcore dance to this......" fucking complain . god i hate those fans that take issue with a band cause they cant dance to it

i thought this wasnt supposed to be a fashion parade . seriously , pull your tiny over stressed brains out of your arses , and worry about something other than how pretty everybody thinks you look while dancing .

    listen to CROWPATH

    r.i.p. BEIJING TANK

  • The Deacade of Statues - It part B !!!! and BTBAM is the the most talented band in existence. They play progressive metal. As they progress through there own life so does there music with the talent progressing to the greatest of heights. I predict by there next album they will be robots for fucks sake. lol

  • what is the title of the song...?

  • Foam born, its in the description :)

  • The Best Fucking Band Ever & let me quote that "BETWEEN THE BURIED AND ME OWN!!!!"

  • this music is amazing, but you cant hardcore dance to it, its math metal...its constantly changing beat in everything...because i hardcore dance andi wouldnt bother with that at a show like this...i would be watching the guitar palyers so see if i could pick anything up and the bass player and drummer becausetheyare all amazing as hell

  • Hardcore dancing is fucking stupid anyway.

  • i agree. hardcore dancing has become, more often than not, a hobby for untalented scene kids going to metal or hardcore shows to inflate their ego and show off their 'mad skillzz' in hardcore monkey dancing. im sick of this machismo shit. which is precisely i why i love between the buried and me. they're not acting tough or anything. they're just playing music. just pure talent. plain and simple.

  • dude i feel the same way

i went to go see BTBAM and it was awesome because everybody there knew that hardcore dancing is for fags

  • i agree with adamski182 and plus progressive metal isn't even met for dancing its meant for listening thats why they use really weird time signatures

  • god i wish i could have seen them in SF last night....fuck.

  • 6:50

  • amazing fucking band

  • Man, when you have a band that musically talented you have no time to dance. You can only stand in awe and listen.

  • yes indeed..opeth as well

  • true that

  • yeah...fuckin hardcore dancing kids piss me off. well, not really. they are funny to watch. but for a band like this...i just watch and appreciate. amazing music!

  • fuck karate kid dancing pits. I love to appreciate the killer music

  • i know right they look like fucking dumbshits just waving their hands in the air

  • me at a btbam show would wanna watch them instead of hardcore dance since their music is phenomenal

  • that crowd fucking sucks. pisses me off when you pay to see them and you stand around like youre at a fucking museum, that probably pissed them off.

  • Does it matter if the crowd moves or not? i dont think so ..i dont think the band is being pissed just for that. you are there to watch and enjoy the music , and the band understands that.Soure you can give em a little more support but moshing is just for emo kids

  • It's not like it's the easiest style of music to mosh on anyway. Stand there and appreciate the musicianship is already a good start. There's plenty of hardcore bands if u wanna mosh on something ...

  • you my friend are quite clearly a scene dork. in it for the image? like it because your friends told you it was cool? i agree with the others, and ive seen them before... all i could do was stand with my jaw to the floor.

  • sounds like you're just s jackass with a dick stuck in your ass

  • Your probably one of the faggot scene kids. Music isn't all about apperience asshole.

They can play live, thats all that matters.

They care more that your showing up to support and listening to their amazing music more than thay care if your fucking dancing to it.

    I can promise you that.

  • this video is awesome but what in the FUCK is up with the crowd. They look like the could give a shit less that Between the Buried and Me is playing right in front of them. They played at the Mad Hatter last night and that crowd would've eaten this one alive. Fuck dudes, get the fuck into it.

  • Dude I was there. Where were you at? I was front center about 2-3 people back. Was it just me or did you get the impression they were going to play a song after white walls but Tommy was pissed for some reason and just left. It looked like the guitar player gave the drummer a look like whats going on? Oh well. Anyway though, tremendous fucking show.

  • Fuck yea, it's David Bowie, haha!

I'd love to see them play Ants of the Sky live, haha I love it when they go into the bluegrass thing. xD

  • whose faces are those on the kickdrums?

  • David Bowie mofucka! Speciafically, David Bowie from that 80's movie "Labyrinth"

When I saw them at Dirt Fest Dusty had that on his guitar, too.

Bowie is metal as shit and BTBAM knows it.

  • and the drums are so fast or so tech. that he is moving, he has no choice if he wants to play. haha. so trust me this band moves. go see them live

  • who cares about stage presents if there music is amazing, its flawless. if you havent seen this band live at a venue then dont even comment. Live you dont even notice that they are not moving, and jesus christ, if you want to see movement look at the guitarist hands live, they are all over the place. not to mention Dan always headbangs, and tommy is fucking allll over the stage he basically gets right in the front rows face when he sings.

  • And if you find a band boring just because they don't run around like little children, then you apparently don't have much of an appreciation of music.

  • 6:36 = orgasm

  • That's immense! They sound exactly like they do on record!

  • i saw them live friday night and they had the entire crowd beating the crap outta eachother. the whole crowd was jumping at the stage during selkies and white walls!

  • umm....maybe the crowd isn't moving because btbam are a good band and all, but live they are really fucking boring. they don't move at all. the guitarists and bassist just stand in one spot headbanging, sorry but that's not enough to get a crowd moving. you might have heavy music but you also gotta show that you as a musician feel it and move around on the stage to get the crowd to respond.

  • how many bands that play like btbam headbang and have amazing stage performance NONE that i know of. their stuff is super technical throughout. paul, dustie, dan, tommy, and blake all know their stuff. i highly doubt any other bands would attempt to write on the level these guys do. they're like a milestone in creativity.

  • what about the mars volta?

  • Mars Volta put on the longest set I've ever seen, and I don't mean that in a good way.

  • thats fair...it can be hit and miss with them

  • or tool?

  • Amen

  • I agree completely, but in response to the stage performance: Dillinger Escape Plan absolutely freak out and play music as technical, though completely different, as BTBAM. However.. DEPs live performances aren't as flawless as BTBAMs but the intensity they bring each and everytime, IMO, is amazing!

  • DEP is technical in a different way. A lot of times DEP is playing the same chord over and over in a complex rhythm, which allows them to go nuts. But whenever they get into the lead parts they stand still.

  • SO FUCKING FUCKING FUCKING GOOD

  • so damn technical!

    i love their guitarists!

  • wow. BORING FUCKING CROWD. anyone know what city this was?

  • yea when I saw them in Michigan you couldnt stay in one spot the crowd was so intense, people were stage diving and shit, it was sick as fuck.

  • The ppl in the crowd are fucking pussies who the fuck just stands still at a BTBAM concert? there dicks should be cut off and shoved in their own asses regardless if it was a new song or not

  • dude ive been to several btbam shows, and its not that the crowd isnt into it, its just that the music is so technical and unique that people watch them play out of respect for what they do, all i hear in the still crowd is how amazing these guys are. so maybe you should take the dick out of your ass koolkylefag

  • The part at the end just pwns

  • Lol i replied to myself

  • I did it again lolz

  • lolz once more

  • LOLZ THIS IS THE LAST TIME

  • sweet live footage. the people in the crowd look like pussies. I'd be flippin the fuck out if I saw BTBM live.

  • Fantastic job.

  • kinda sounds like a muse-ish opening from :50 -1:35

  • thanks for putting this up

    i fucking love btbam

    the live footage is awesome

  • Neato torpedo!

Can't wait til I see them on the 26th!
