DragonballFO, The reason the WTBTS created the NWT was to have a translation that supports their doctrine. In Col (1:16,17) the word other is added four times in brackets and is added in Phil(2:9) without brackets. The two reasons given for the brackets don't apply to Col(1:16,17) and not having them in Phil(2:9) breaks their own stated guidelines. The truth is the word other alters the meanings against the Greek to agree with WTBTS doctrine that is why they created the NWT to alter key verses.

I'm the one willing to research the Bible that is why I don't accept the NWT, if I weren't I would accept it, but I examine the greek and the laws of translation which are broken by the NWT translation committee repeatedly. The form Jehovah of the tetragrammaton is of 14th century Catholic origin and the Watchtower admits this and that Yahweh is the more correct way. The new testament makes very clear that Jesus is the name that we are saved by not the middle ages form of the tetragrammaton.

4 of the five men who did the Translating of the NWT only had a high school education, they were Nathan Knorr, Albert Schroeder, George Gangas, Fred Fraz and M. Henschel. Just because the WTBTS translates something into many languages doesn't make it true or superior. The NWT isn't used by any other religious group, that should be a red flag for Jehovah's Witnesses.

Because we're expected to dress modestly, with "well arranged dress"... I could quote a half dozen scriptures to you on the matter of dress from the christian greek scriptures, but I'm sure it wouldn't do any good.

Epidome, we have no "dress code". Men, women and children are admonished to dress in a way fitting for those who claim to reverence God.

1 Timothy 2:9) "Likewise I desire the women to adorn themselves in well-arranged dress, with modesty and soundness of mind, not with styles of hair braiding and gold or pearls or very expensive garb".

"Soundness of mind" and "modesty", this is our dress code. But there will always be those who complain about there lot and criticize without knowledge.

We don't ask individual JW's to wear any particular style of clothing, except to say that the clothing should reflect the dignity of the occassion and respect for God. In Israelite times, for a priest to come into the temple unwashed, was a very serious offense. The law of Moses prescribed specific items for Israelite clothing, .. fringes, etc.

We have no particular stand on the LDS Church. The style of dress which JW's, the LDS Church and other's promote and practice is not new. Christians today have become very casual in their view of many things, including the way they worship. JW's style of dress is intended to elevate the worship of Jehovah to its rightful place, not detract from it. Rather than appear as if we're going to a picnic or the beach, to us, every occassion of worship is sacred and our style of dress reflects that.

The LDS church stands against orthodox Christianity too, they preach a gospel, a Jesus different from ours, they claim that there's is the only true religion and that the church lost its way so Joseph Smith searched for the truth. If you look up Joseph Smith's first vision part 1 and part 2 you can see the LDS claim. They also believe in eternal progression - As man is God once was, as God is man will be. They believe their president or prophet is God's channel of communication on earth.

In their stance against orthodox Christianity the LDS church stands against the Watchtower too. This begs the question for the Watchtower, "Is the enemy of my enemy my enemy or my friend?" LDS are preaching door to door and on the mission field that there's is the only true gospel. The state of Utah was created by Mormons.

When a gospel claims it is the truth it pits itself against all other ones. Mormons believe that Jesus and Lucifer are brothers, that everybody is incarnated coming from a prior existence. They believe that a man must practice polygamy in order to attain to Godhood, they believe in eternal progression, yet I know that Witnesses don't believe that humans have an eternal soul. Mormons believe that their prophet is God's channel of communication on earth which is against the governing body of WT.

So you're generally correct in your assertions, it's your time line that's wrong.

The great apostasy began soon after the death of the apostles.. However, the prophet Daniel foretold, (Daniel 12:4)And as for you, O Daniel, make secret the words and seal up the book, until the time of [the] end. Many will rove about, and the [true] knowledge will become abundant.

The "true knowledge has become abundant today through the preaching of the good news of God's kingdom, principally by JW's.

The Council of Nicea voted to make the Trinity the official doctrine of the church. However, the Council of Nicea did not invent these doctrines. Rather, it only recognized what the Bible taught, and systematized the doctrines. The Council of Nicea, a gathering similar to the one described in Acts 15:4-22, condemned the beliefs of Arius and wrote the first version of the now famous creed proclaiming that the Son was "one in being with the Father" by use of the Greek word "homoousius."

IF this information is false then prove that these are not things taught or enforced by the Watchtower Bible and Tract Society. If it is false than these are not things that Jehovah's Witnesses have to obey, but they do and if you say that they don't you are lying. This is merely the truth not slandering or hurling false accusations from a motive that is not deceptive. This is merely the evidence that the same issues in the life and times of Jesus Christ have resurfaced again in another sect.

Thank you Renagade6977 & exjw44288, I see that both of you have some passion about false doctrines and false gospels. With the internet we have a world wide audience which includes Jehovah's Witnesses, it is my hope that this could get even one JW to examine their beliefs and to feed the fire of passion in those like you who love the truth.

I liked this video. The jehovah's witnesses are among some of the biggest hypocrites you can meet. They have no real love among themselves and it sometimes seems like many of the elders have "God syndrome" and don't get me started on the governing body lol

JW is not hypocrite. We love other people just as we love each other. What you are saying is false. Elders are the ones to take care of congregations as well as take care of sheeps just as the apostles were instructed by Jesus to take care of sheeps.

Things like the dress code, reporting field service time, etc are just ways to micro manage the rank and file. Keep them busy with small things, so they won't have time to notice the big problems within the organization, ie: false doctrine and cover ups of child molestation and domestic violence within their ranks.
