The only complaints I have about persona 4 are that your playing a teenager witch is done in way to many rpg's and that there isn't any variation of battle music for normal and boss battles.

I'm trying to play threw three but its hard to be motivated when someone tells you the ending:(

@WilliamGeorgeB16 Definitely 4, its easier to find and probably cheaper.4 is a refined version of 3 and is more structured.If you are gonna buy 3, be sure to get the FES version though.

@WilliamGeorgeB16 Its the same as persona 3 but with bonus content (An extra story after the main one concludes.).Its also cheaper as the original persona 3 is considered a collectors item now, so there is no point paying more if you get less unless you are a collector.If you have a psp you can also pick up P3P which is persona 3 with some slight modifications and a small amount of bonus content.

Yes,I believe that a game review, or even a review of P3 and P4, is in order.

Also a comment on the Social Links pack: DON'T TRY TO GET IT. When Amazon released this awesome bit of swag, some unscrupulous assholes went and bought all of the packs, resulting in inflated prices.I just checked Amazon and now in 2011, over three years after the packs were releases, those packs are still going for $195! So enjoy watching this vid because unless you are going to pay $200 you won't ever have this.

Persona 4 was the only japanese game I liked. The first 6-8 hours were amazing. Filled with cutscenes and voiceovers. And afterwards the cut scenes all of a sudden stopped, and they dropped the voice overs. It was so lame, as if they made the first 6 hours for reviewers to get good scores. I couldn't finish it because it started to be so benign

Atlus is a fantastic company. I love their Shin Megami Tensei games. Devil Summoner 2 for PS2 I think is going to (or already has) come out in japan, so hopefully we'll be getting that aswell. Great vid as always HCG!

I have been addicted to this game since early December. I am also a huge fan of Atlus, Shin Megami Tensei, and Persona, so I played and loved Persona 3. However, this game blows it out of the water. The Social Links are more interesting and they affect combat in much more rewarding ways, the dungeons are more fun to crawl through, and the music, while not quite as good as Persona 3, is superb. I am currently wrapping up my 2nd playthrough, and I am seriously considering a 3rd.

I agree man, Persona is a great game.

I played and finished persona 3 and I really enjoyed it. The only problem i had with it were the monsters you encountered. Thy just looked really stupid, and i guess they tried to make them resemble their arcana or persona (or something like that) but it did'nt work out for me. I mean, the enemys were tabels, dancing couples, tanks and guys that look like hulk hogan. I hope they imprved on that in persona 4. Take care man!
