as a rockets fan, i respect the blazers n espesically roy, its sad he retired b/c of those knees. reminds me of my favorite player t-mac, but mac is still hangin on tough after knee surgeries. great series from both teams
“He and I were talking over All-Star break, and I told him I don’t know of any player outside of myself that has no weaknesses besides him. If you think about it, he can go left and pull up and shoot. He can go right and pull up and shoot. He can fade left shoulder, he can fade right shoulder. He can shoot the long ball. He can finish at the rim. He can shoot free throws. He has no weaknesses in his offensive game; so if that’s something he wants to do, he can easily do it"
Roy is so unguardable. Ron Artest and Shane Battier are the best defenders in the NBA and Roy still scored 42 with a 7'6 guy in the middle. The Blazors should be like right under LA in the west if they was healthy.
This was a really fun series. As a Blazer fan I'm dissapointed because I can't help but wonder what would have happened had we been prepared in game 1. The strategy for that game was bad and this could have gone 7 games.

Rockets were an amazing defensive team that year. Artest and Battier guarding the perimeter, Yao and Mutombo (before injury) in the post...wow.

Crazy game by Roy, he is amazing. Superstar that doesn't get the calls, how many times did Yao foul him.

the refs didnt give roy anything in this game either. If they actually called fouls for him he could have gone for 50 easy
