  • This is gymnastics.

  • Comment removed

  • This is the problem in marcial arts nowadays, they transformed it for a show-up. It is not more like the past, they used to control the mind and spiritual by the arts. Thanks god my master isn't any master, he knows what he is teaching us.

  • Fuck why did i quit taekwondo ? !-!

    Damn

  • what range would you say it takes for a person to become that skilled (like from your fastest to slowest learners)?

  • this if not taekwondo

  • man i would love if we had a school here by us to learn that stuff and surious tkd

  • Amazing!

  • is there a specific name for this in tkd cuz i only know it from tricking

  • Comment removed

  • this is capoeira. not tae kwon do at all

  • @ssc9309 I don't think it's capoeira either. About 1 or 2 kicks actually looked like TKD

  • I don't think that this would help anyone if it's a street fight. And this looks more like capoeira than tae kwon do.

  • Omg 1:27 i will lose to them xD

  • the question I pose: How much of this shit can work in a real fight? not a competition, not a performance.

  • i fear not the man who has done 10,000 kicks once but i fear the man who has done 1 kick 10,000 times therefore tae kwon do practisioners are no threat to me the karateka.

  • this is more tricking than Taekwondo..

  • Useless kicks. They focus their whole power and energy on the dizzy spinning itself, not on the sheer power to kicks. Taekwondo should be modified to be like Muay Thai that emphasizes simple and powerful kicks and punches, getting out of these flashy dancing-like spinning kicks.

  • @tshk5271221 I agree how you feel. In a real fight these would not work as easily. But the spinning adds momentum to the kicks which cause an increase in strength and power. So yeah, they're not completely "useless".

  • @jackoface710

A Karate master like Midori Kenji will knock down a Taekwondo master with his simple but powerful kick (just one kick) while a Taekwondo master is showing off by spinning himself for 540 or 720 kicks. Anyways, I just hope Taekwondo to be a simpler and power-driven martial art like Muay Thai or Kyokushin Karate.

  • very nice

  • I take Taekwondo and I believe that every martial art even taekwondo is very effective in any fight. However I do belive if you were to pit them agaist each other you would never be able to determine which is better because it's the martial artists ability to conduct the moves and how they work with the techniques. A taekwondo master can beat a master of muay thai and the opposite can happen anywhere else.

  • @S1cKxPredator well i think every martial art has its strengths and weaknesses, it depends on the fighters knowledge, experience and his ability to outwit his opponent. MMA is basically tackle and groundpound

  • @S1cKxPredator these are the words of some one that know nothing about martial arts... shut the hell up and go look jiu-jitsu vs any martial art in youtube.

  • moral of the video...run from these guys while u can

  • these kicks just looks cool but isnt effective in real combat or in a mma cage.. Usseless............... Sory taekwondo fans jiu-jitsu owns

  • @GuitarFreak12345678 These kicks are never used in a fight, not even in taekwondo, they're just for showing off so it says very little about taekwondo as an effective martial art.

  • HOLY SHIT!

  • These are not Tae Kwon Do kicks!

  • @Tunainthebrine79 eh sorta yes but not entirely

  • It's like they are playing with gravity

  • lol the guy at 1:48 reminds me of bruce lee for some reason

  • if i meet one of this persons i would bee at least 10m away from them, you never known

  • they are putting all their momentum into one point so that =Game Over

  • Easy to do: right, bottom, left, A, B, bottom, left, X, left, bottom, right, X.

  • not TAEKWONDO you noob it is kung fu

  • @matasx83ab Their not the noobs they can actually do the kicks you cant so stfu

  • @matasx83ab And actually those are Taekwondo kicks

  • @mcool135 they are more korean kickboxing and... ...something else but ne of those was tae kwon do...i take it but u woont learn that till atleast expert brown belt

  • @dev19971 I've been taking it for 5 year's and they taught me those kicks so trust me it's taekwondo

  • it looks very cool

  • i did this but i woke up

  • this are good kicks. and they hurt fur sure... at this point if you manage to close the distance this kicks are usefull... use thai clinch and knees and your legs are gone.

  • This is what I call break dancing.

  • fight me then bitch.ok. 720 spin. guy wakes up. what the fucked happened

  • 0:59 WOW!! WTF that guy is good!

  • Wow.. these people can create new figure skating moves -___________-'

  • wow ich find diese kicks einfach nur zu geil die sehen sooo hammer aus sind aber leider sehr schwer wie lange die wohl schon taekwondo machen Daumen hoch :D

  • ninjas

  • 1 question: How do they get their spins so fast ?_?

I can nearly do a 720spin + kick but they make it look so easy..

  • @09Jason11 Weight control and distribution. A big way they probably get their speed is when they swing their arms out like that. it helps build momentum. I say this from an experience with many martial arts (currently Tae Kwon Do) and a fairly good understanding of physics.

  • I like Jack knife most :)

  • is that studio by any chance in australia sydney?

  • muay thai is better

  • @Thestig037 yee true depends on wat u mean muay thai is for defence taekwondo is for show

  • @blytzace Muay Thai is attacking martial art. It is met to fight fire with fire. Everything in Muay Thai is deadly. This is Demo Tae Kwon Do, it's for demonstrations, traditional Tae Kwon Do has joint locks, punches, kicks, knees, elbows and throws. It's complete stand up fighting form but Olympic style trains only kicks (witch is most common).

  • fucking better than capoera!

  • This is not TKD!!! This is capoeira regional!!!

  • Serious question: Does the spinning actually gives the kick more power since the spinning has the ability to store momentum?

I personally don't like the kicks, but I really like the control these guys have.

I am a kyokushin fighter myself.

    OSU!

  • This is very powerful kicks, trust me :)

  • @theWWMYC it desguises the kick but yes it gives a lil more power

  • @theWWMYC Of course it does. Spinning gives extra momentum witch gives you extra power. For example Spinning hook kick is more powerful then Round kick because you have more momentum, your leg is traveling greater distance and that gives you more power. In Kyokushin karate I guess you use fast punches. I train Kickboxing and I love this form of Tae Kwon Do. It requests great balance and timing. I'm trying to use some of this in Kickboxing. For now Tornado Kick and 360 Back Kick are best :)

  • i fucking love butterfly twists :D

  • his vid is the reason why i want to take up tae kwon do

  • ohya... run or die.. :D

  • how many years experience u guys have?? and how many times a week u train? frikken awesome stuff man u guys rockk lookin good keep up the good work :)

  • EVERYBODY in this video is extra talented. Not only because i can't flip, but you're all mostly in fucking skinny jeans and that's hard as hell to move in. TKD gear I can see but tight pants is like a whole new dimension. I wouldn't want those kids kicking my ass wth flips either. Good vid.

  • HOW DO YOU DO THAT IN JEANS!!!!!!

  • @Djcrazykidd i noe ayye!!! xD freeky

  • Holyyy god Man, I want to learn this!!! I dont know if they have these kind of stuff in hawaii

  • most people think tae kwon do is all about fighting, but you learn how to avoid a conflict instead of fighting....but most of these kicks are based on tae kwon do

  • this is not taekwondo is Xtreme martial arts

  • this is not tae kwon do. I have a black belt 2nd dan and I have never learned this. This is Capoeira. A Brazilian style of kicking.

  • @cubaninc its half capoerira and half Xtreme martial arts (XMA) check it

  • taekwondo my ass, haha, this is nothing like what ive learned the past years.

  • How long would it take someone to get this good!!?? How long have these guys been training??

  • @RyanDotTv you can learn these things pretty quikly except for the flips (as long as you're naturally athletic)

  • this looks more like kung fu style wushu witch isn't meant to be faught against other people but just for show like as in capoeira Brazilian martial arts.

  • @jmaccer kung fu was actually invented for war to kill an opponent as quikly as possibly so it is fighting...but they've converted the modern style into a showstyle instead of a very effective sport (except for sanda)

  • i can't undestand where are this guys when championships are passing? i would like to see someone using this kicks in a real fight ))) it would be fantastic, wouldn't it?

  • are this guys humans?

  • this looks like a hybrid with capoeira. pretty cool!

  • Man thong FTW

  • hi what TKD are you mentioning here? WTF or ITF, for WTF i might i agree? yes, you are right things here are for movies or stunts, before they reaches you u you can already hit them at the head before it hits you.

you might want to see a match of ITF search hwang su. you can tell the difference from WTF.

  • P.S. This is Gymnastic mixed with Taekwondo, refereed to "Urban Ninjas" Gymnastics. If you want to learn this you should take Gymnastic lessions and go Taekwondo.

  • ^-^

  • how long would it take to get to that level?

  • @crackheads4 too long

  • 1:00-1:02 was sick

  • acctually I train tae-kwon-do and these kicks aren't meant to look good, they are efficient and energy saving, if you use the correct amount of strength and perform the kicks right, you can knock out about anyone haha not very hard.

  • @hannasmage seems like they would be hard to land but hey i dont really know anything im just saying thats what it seems like lol

  • Very cool video. I have taught tae kwon do for about 9 years. The kicks in this video are definitely a mix of Taekwon Do, Brazilian Capoeira, and gymnastic moves. We have students that learn these techniques for demonstration purposes only. Very cool looking and difficult but NOT FUNCTIONAL. I read on here a comment that if someone uses this in a fight you better run. I'm sure your referring to the guy doing the kicks. It only takes a split second to jump to the side to counter these kicks

  • that asian guy's kicking in jeans... how is that posible?

  • Will it work?

  • i'm 16 am i too old to start doing this????, I reckon my body is too stiff already to be able to conduct these flips and moves!!

  • Just look at the little kids at the end. With practice and determination, anyone can do this.

  • the loopkicks camp is not taekwondo camp it's tricking camp

  • Huh..!! who da hell told theesse kicks TAE KWON DO??? They are COPUEIRA kicks... why u guys doing these things?? im also a tae kwon do artist.. but dont lyk such things.. this is a fraud..

  • @scoreboy500

I agree theres some basics form tae kwon do like kicks, but seems to me is rather capoeira , the way they move, acrobatics....

  • Huh..!! who da hell told theesse kicks TAE KWON DO??? They are COPUEIRA kicks..!!!!

  • Huh..!! who da hell told theesse kicks TAE KWON DO??? They are COPUEIRA kicks..!!!!

  • genial el tae kwon do es lo mejor

  • I've been thinking about taking taekwondo, and this looks pretty intimidating... EHEHEHEEE!!! XD awesome!! :P I'm excited because I haven't taken any sports or martial arts since I was younger, and I need to be more physically active so I can achieve inner balance. :D

  • This is more like tae kwon do artists trying to show off some capoiera skills.

  • :24. best roll kick i've ever seen

  • Growing Stringer - Trevor Rabin.

  • HOLY *BEEP*

  • the guy in the blue shirt and jeans is the best

  • okay people are asking do you have to learn thse kicks in taekwondo or gymnastics and no you dont. you can self teach your self which is heaper then taking classes. for me it is alot easier to do it on your own but you can use a partner that has done martial arts and gymnastics to help and spot you or just spot yourself. i hope this answers some peoples questions.

  • Wow... so fast and power kicking...where can I learn this?:)

  • Taekwondo is kicks that can actually hurt you this is just straight out tricking.

  • @Bonecrusher697 youre saying none of that shit would hurt a person if it impacted their body

  • @Bonecrusher697 Yep - impressive spinning, but pretty pointless.

  • @fablefan27 i wanna know that too, so you don't learn this in normal tae kwon do?

  • awesomeeeeeeeeee

  • Nice tricking

  • lol at the badass @1:41 wearing a g-string

  • if someone attempts to use this on you in real life: run like hell...

  • @DakotaRogers AHAHAHA That made my day

  • Trust me, everything you see here in this video is useless unless you hit him in the face with it. As soon as your opponent reaches you, you have no use for TKD. I know this because I've done TKD. They barely teach you how to defend. If you want to be a great fighter, then you should go for MMA. Picking a style is like going into a specific line in high school, you learn alot of stuff which you might not even have use for later in your life. What truely matters is the fighter. Keep this in mind.

  • @DakotaRogers

lol fuck that. just run towards the kick. (obviously dodging the actual kick). the closer you get the less power he has in his kick. grab his fucking leg. he cant do shit if he only has one leg. pretty much turns into your bitch.

  • @MustBeFiend If they did land a kick it might knock them into the ground, I kind of wonder how they would land if they kicked someone in the head and then just stopped and fell.

  • @DakotaRogers

If someone can do these "just-for-show" kicks, and is skillful enough to hit you....

    well, your sincerely fucked! :D

  • its more like capoeira than tkd

  • @kanemay19619, taekwondo and capoeira have one main thing in common besides a shit load of kicks. both styles can be confused with dancing

  • Cool

  • I now

  • I know

  • well actually i think that these kicks are not meant to be effective...they are supposed to look great...and they fucking do!!! the balance and skill of these guys....insane!!

  • your right, but then again if one of those kicks hit you on the side of the head.....ouch.

  • no not only that they have to look great but also to use in actual combat

  • @DexxA1301 no need of fighting if you can do these stuff... just show them for ur opponent and he will run away xD!

  • @narutodamp Or get the gun next time ^_^;

  • @DexxA1301 they are effective trust me

  • But the thing is these taekwando kicks were executed in mid-air. So the actual damage done will be very less, especially when you compare it to muay thai, boxing or others forms of martial arts. They may look flashy, but actually they are weak. Well when I say weak I mean weaker, and not weak weak.

  • thats iinsane 0.0

  • You're right on that one about pulling back but, i never said to pull back, i true karate ka controls his battle either to win or lose. I don't pull back, i fight in tournaments to win, not to get shikaku. I'm confident about my kumite and sometimes there is no need to destroy my opponent at a tournament. I have control, I simply made the comment that karate strikes are meant for just one single attack and be done. Watch me, yuishinkan texas team sergio a rubalcava dbl gyako tsuki.

  • taekwondo ist einfach der geilste sport ever

  • it's called tricking, "an aesthetic blend of kicks, flips and twists". you can't really learn it from martial arts, though it would be a good base to start learning from. You usually learn these stuff by yourself.

  • if u take tae kwondo lessons, is this what they teach you? please reply

  • no its not exactley this tey tech you but 90% off thes kicks are basicly from taekwondo,, the flipping and shit its matrial arts tricks but the basic of it all is taekwondo

  • naa thats not true man. point blank.

this is a combination of gymnastics, creativity, and just kicks. no taekwondo involved at all

  • @Kovan87 im in tau kwan do and first the warm you up by reflexing and stuff oh how mutch water you drink

  • @Kovan87 Haha, and all TaeKwonDo kicks are taken from other martial arts such as Taekkyon, Muay Thai and others ;)

  • @Kovan87 where i lear taekwan-do (slovenia) they surelly don't teach us this O.o but it looks so coool man.. i want to learn that x3

  • All of those kick tricks aren't exactly TaeKwonDo, the kicks are but not the entire trick thing, they will teach you self-defense, all kinds of stuff really, courage, honor, self-control, and all that crap, I am a white belt but I have all of my stripes and I'm getting ready to test on Dec. 4th. The only kicks I can do are front kicks and side kicks but I am good at them, I can get my kicks about a foot above my head. I recommend you go to a local TaeKwonDo place and just watch a class.

  • Are you telling me you're gonna grade without knowing how to do a roundhouse? Will they even let you?

  • Yep they said that I don't need to know it until yellow.

  • no this not i training taekwondo this is not same what they teach they teach much eazier....

  • @br3akd4ncing all of the aerial kicks are really just for fun and dexterity or at least that's how i see them

  • @br3akd4ncing Yes, but not in the beginning, you have learn a lot of other things before they teach you this stuff! those ppl are all at least black belts!

  • @br3akd4ncing Na first u learn basic kicks and punches

  • @br3akd4ncing well there arent many taekwon do dojangs in the world.

  • @br3akd4ncing yes but it takes some time

  • also honestly do u really think that average jo blo would be able to stop 1 of these guys from kickin his head off ? I'm thinking of a deer in the headlights

  • those guys are fast ! dont even fully comprehend just what some of them did

  • i cant wait till tekken 6 comes out.. hworang oo yea lol

  • DAMN that's insane. AWESOME!

  • I wish I could do that, too!

  • daaaamn! i give props to the little kids! they got potential

  • true, but there is nothing wrong with working your stand up....mind you these kicks dont really have a practical application....look good though.

  • agreed

  • well yeah, its for show

  • dame these guys are jumping beans

  • holly crap

    u guys are crazy

    damn nice job

  • shut the fuck up!! we get it you suck gracie dick!!

ive see ur same stupid comment in about 10 videos now!

  • Lot of that was showing off acrobatics as apposed to targeted kicks. After all kicks no good without it being targeted at something, just a waste of energy. Some of them were impressive when used against the pads:)
