  • Nice!

  • Beautiful machine! Amazing how most people are oblivious to a horn coming up behind them, just like here in the U.S. You really have built an inspiring trike :)

  • Do you have a build page with pictures and details about different parts?

  • @Thepockets88 I've only the videos #1-#5, you can find it in my playlist!

  • @ChrisLuxembourg

Ah, Ha..! That makes sense. Thanks ! Inbox overflow, gotta go...

    Ciao !

  • @ChrisLuxembourg Beautiful...! One question, why the quirky "rRRRRrRRRRrRRRRrRRRRr" sound, rather than a "rrrRRRRRRRRRRRRRrr"..; is there a Dud winding in the Motor, giving an Electromotive Hole in the Field, 1 Cycle per RPM ? Other than that, it's a LOVELY little "What-The-FUCK-was-THAT !-Mobile"... (Tee hee hee !). Very well done !

    Ciao...

  • @WarblesOnALot The "rRRRRrRRRRrRRRR" sound comes from the pedal alternator, it's really noisy in the videos because the camera is only 20cm away. The big chainring has 78T, the sprocket 13T and the geared alternator 1:6.5

    That makes at 70rpm(crank)exactly 2730rpm on a 4 pole 250W dc-alternator.

If I stop pedaling the motor stops too, at a few pedal turns the motor begins to work.

But a charging I only can get with 70-75rpm, so I can ride relax(up to 150Km) or hardworking(unlimited range)!

  • @ChrisLuxembourg

    :O wow!

  • you barely get exerted? seems effortless

  • @YUNGRIZZIE For me it's effortless, because I only need to pedal my averaged 100-120Watt , the other power comes from the battery. In down hill I use regenerative braking and with full motor assistance a mountain really doesn't exist. For the same speed and performance a cyclist must stand on the pedals...

  • @ChrisLuxembourg man your a genious this other guy has a car that he pumps generation by hand crank and i asked him if this could be transfered to pedal torque he told me no ha you proved him wrong i so bad want one like yours now and only like yours must say i would use this daily 50 thumbs up on this project!

  • @YUNGRIZZIE THANKS, but the idea isn't new! Google for "Lohner-Porsche" and you'll find a 4WD electric car with hubmotors in the year 1900! What Mr.Lohner doesn't have are LiPO batts, double layer caps and Field-Effect-Transistors.

TODAY, you can compare it with a hybrid car. A little 500ccm motor charge the batt, that's me in my bike. But you cannot move a car with only 500ccm, the solution is the load in the average!

I only hope our EV creators have got the ideas like Mr.Lohner...

  • @ChrisLuxembourg: At this point of public economy... The answer is "no"."Assembly it yourself prefab. kit" would be the only solution. No other way. People do things for getting cash. Not for the idea. Not in the industry. I was surprised when I found Alleweder A4 "DIY". I would order Alleweder A4 but personally I find better bicycles to be upgraded. imagine a bicycle from IKEA. And try to imagine "DIY" just bit more complicated than that. That would be economically slicing human's minds.

  • Nice video, which is the Lowracer top speed?

  • @LIBRAplus Motor powered speed@40V about 30Km/h, open-end at down hill

  • @leaualorin Exact 110Kg! The weight you can compare with a tandem bike and 2riders. But in this case the motor is many times stronger!

  • LOL the powerless bikers had problem beating you :)

  • All nice and sweet!

but you should do something about the noise coming from the motors or gears.

Sounds like something is out-of-alignment (that yanking sound)

  • @yo6ial The sound is not from the motor and not from the gears(because I don't have any gears). It's from the alternator, and it sound really noisy because the camera is directly over the alternator.

  • @ChrisLuxembourg Sorry. I wanted to say "cogs". ;))

Then, that means your lowracer is silent as a church mouse :D

  • Hey, you gotta sound-system in that thing or do you just use your i-pod?

Any plans for a two-person model yet?

    Greetings from Canada :-)

  • @bourquechris Yes, a sound system with a SanDisk MP3 player. No plans for 2-person-model, but new plans for another bike...

  • Could be the future for a lot of folks this kind of technology. Fantastic.

  • @WaterFall1973 Dank u wel!

  • Absolutely fantastic...

  • @bigsugar999 Thanks!

  • Awesome now you need regenerative braking, looks like you get good speed out of it.

    Too Cool

  • @CCampana64 Thanks! I've got an energy recuperation or "regenerative brake". That brakes the bike down to 18Km/h, the rest I brake down with the hydraulic disc brakes! To ride without recuperation further the wear and is a big waste of energy, that destroy every "energy budget"...

  • @CCampana64 thank you for you reply

  • Looking good, man! Now let's see some flyby shots!

  • that was fun.

  • Was the last few seconds of this ride on a dirt road?
