  • Its sat very low and close to the sensetive part of the horses nose:(! In the wrong hands the bone could be fractured!

  • Good idea. Where did you buy the bridle

  • This shouldn't be considered a true bitless bridle because it's working just like a side-pull or mechanical hackimore...

  • from where did you get the briddle? I am looking for one and searching for a hole month!

  • lol i can get the same effect with a rope halter.

  • Why would someone waste their money on this? Just get a simple hackamore or just clip some lead ropes to a halter.

  • If you buy just a small wheel- like thing you can just attach that to your headstall and have the exact same thing...

  • Haha I so wish my horse would listen without a bit. He would probably never stop or run until his legs fell off ha

  • @CowGirlThatsMe988 Might wanna teach your horse some breaks then :| Should never rely on something mechanical, to stop.

  • Interesting! Granted a halter gives the same effect, but this doesn't look as sloppy as a halter(Well the halters I buy, hahahaha!) I'd love to try this out since my horse does so well with just a halter( I just use the bit for when he gets moody))

  • Personally I find that a lot of these bitless bridles are unnecessary and me and my mare make do just fine with a halter and lead. If your horse knows how to neck rein, you don't even need reins!

  • @Hantarrrrr How do you neck rein without reins?

  • @windmillstables1 If your horse is sensitive enough, you can use pressure with your whole hand, and your thumb for more direct pressure. It takes practice but it is very plausible, I do this often with my own horse. It also works with a neck rope. It's great for increasing communication!

  • Guys, Guys! ... I think English horses have tougher mouths. Bitless is still sort of a novelty for them... They'll figure it out ^.^;; eventually.

  • @bishonenboy

my horse was a harness horse,

and when she was sold onto a family to be ridden, they had a ruff as guts guy break her into saddle,

then i bought her, and she has been turned into a dressage and jumping horse

and i can ride her halter and leadrope around the paddock, and she listens to me fine

not starting riff raff just saying that english horses can be ridden bitless no problem

  • @TheRubyRose13 Oh, I completely agree that English horses can be ridden bitless. The LG Bitless Bridle just seems a little overkill to me. Like the English industry needs an alternate piece of hardware to compensate for not having a bit, don’t yet have confidence in a hackamore. But hey, if it works for someone, go for it.

  • Just use the halter and attach some form of reins and yer ready to go. (Well that's the cheaper version anyway.)

  • I don't see why you would use one for the price you have to pay. I want to try bitless with my horse and have picked up one for £12! Not the £100 i would be paying for the LG

  • just take th bit off of a regular bridle and viola its the same thing

  • @gobarrelracing i was just thinking the same thing.

  • @KatsavesAnimals lol or just clip some reins to the halter and YIPPE! haha

  • @gobarrelracing lol!i do it always 2 my donkey!

  • @gobarrelracing wouldnt work :L
