Saw the movie for the first time last night. 1:17 - 1:58 on the time line - where Col. Brandon hauls Marianne uphill in the rain like a firefighter. He's exhausted and in pain, and yet remains camped outside her door during her illness with inadequate food and sleep, and yet STILL wants to know what he can do to help her family. That's LOVE and sacrifice and honor. His soldiers should have been proud to have served under him.
