@sixty9fordkiller this book is not easy. lots of really exposed moments in the snares, and tenors are playing some messed up arounds. plus their drill during this section of the book is really demanding.

im not a fan of a lot muffling but the tenors were low and ringy snares r wet beyond belief and bass so little to no muffle...

easiest way to get clean right there....

I stood behind these guys in Dallas this year as the percussion ensemble ran through the show.

The drums do ring but does it even matter? It obviously works for them.

The section is in the top three right now and they're not falling out.

@Washburn135 the wettness, ringing, gives it a better sound and lets the sound travle further so you can hear the line, it hides dirt if your playing light and low. obviously what there not doing. and better then BD's cranked to high hevan, and getting, what 6th in perc. at finals.
