03 is best IMO. Classic film, expresses what the Hulk really is: A beast with emotional stress, and anger. I did like the new one, but the 03 one will always be my favorite.

I like the 2003 movie. That Hulk looked much more bigger and buffer, and was definitely more stronger than the 2008 one and wasn't a pussy like him. But I think the villain in the 2008 movie was way better, even though the dog fight scene was pretty epic.

The new one it was like: yea it's the Hulk but the Ang Lee Hulk was more than that, the whole character, film and effects were fantastic.

@skinwalkerxxx the ang lee hulk was complete and utter bullshit. We had hulk staring at fungus out in the desert. Barely anyone was killed, it had a ridiculous cut screen effect like every 10 mins....IT HAD FUCKING HULK DOGS. When i saw that i was like, "You have got to be shitting me." Yes i'm aware that was in an issue, but it's a horrible idea. The 2008 had proper villains, thunderbolt felt like a true bastard, and it actually had action.

@Blastaar7 yet the 08 bored me to tears. there was so little things to it, it felt like a tv movie.

The Hulk especially on the Ang Lee film felt like such an amazing creature. his sound was unusual. his personality was unusual. and there was a great spirituality to the movie. the editing like comic-book panels was sublime.

And nothing in the 08 will ever match the battle in the Ang Lee movie when Hulk face the military in the desert.

@RedRex300 I said the samething to some of these people in other posts. They have to be high. The 2003 movie was for kiddies or something since they made sure that NOBODY was killed battling the hulk. Every time he haymaker'd a heli caused it to crash, you'd hear the pilots "we're ok!". He even jumped on that f-22 to keep it from crashing. And that end fight was some of the most effed up garbage i've ever seen. 2008 hulk was perfect. Causualties and fights that weren't all in the desert.

Old Hulk was better. It was much more grounded in reality and the Hulk looked more realistic. The new Hulk looks like it came out of a video game.All 2003 needed was a better villain.

hulk 03 had better scenes of hulk, 08's hulk looked better. hulk 03 had a better cast. hulk 08 had a better fighting scene. What I would want is the scenes of hulk 03 with the todays technology.

the 2003 hulk is more human than the 2008 hulk. 03's screams sound more like ahuman scream. 08's screams sound like an actuall beast raoring. 03's transformation id definatly better, and is'nt hidden like 08's. and 03's hulk actually grows when he gets angryier. 08's hulk stays 9 ft throughout. but as far as story, 08's got it. 08's bruce banner is much better. not so much for betty. but the hulk in 03's power and anger/size growsth makes it so than in a fight, 03 would win.

@reposetion The comics tell about how the angrier hulk gets, the stronger he got, it told nothing about him getting taller. Although some of the things in 03's hulk was innacurate, I still liked it.

I think both movies just tried to emulate the successes of previous blockbuster superhero movies. 'Hulk' came after 'Spider-Man' and 'The Incredible Hulk' turned gritty after 'Batman Begins'. I thought the theme of the first was better and also the effects, the Hulk had more of a persona, instead of being a mindless pawn that showed up whenever the plot wanted him to.

Incredible Hulk- Special effects are good and hulk stays close to comics. Bruce's emotions aren't as good though
