I see some people don't think her voice is suited to this, but I have to disagree. I wish she would do more of this kind of music...jazzy twang :) Seriously, I don't know what you people are hearing, she sounds so smoky and cool.

I like her recorded version of this song much better. It's less pushy. It sounds like she is trying to bring something out of her voice that just isn't there. But I love the version on her cd. Her voice sounds much better.

I must say that Gretchen Wilson is one of the better female vocalists in country music today. Plus, a few of her songs even sound a bit like classic country and you don't get that too often anymore! Of course, she also has an incredibly powerful voice!

I love her songs like this. Emotional and meaningful, none of that redneck stuff, cuz that gets too much. But this is raw and honest. I love it :) What a voice. I miss her on country music radio.
