@989Mojo: Thanks for the compliment... funny we're talking about this, because another of my favorite players, sometime jazzman George Benson is very much like EC in that GB has to be pushed by someone before he'll rev up his world-class jazz guitar playing skills. Benson mostly plays lite funk, smooth jazz and stuff in that vein but he is fully capable of bringing it in jazz, if you get him up on stage or in a club with the right cats. I just wish he'd do it more often.

Excuse me... Blues guitarlists and metal guitarists shoudn't be compared to each other. They are two completely different styles. Yes blues has to be played with feeling, but metal can be quite as emotional in its own way.

Both styles needs talent AND feeling to master, so why not enjoy them both instead of saying, which of them is the best?
