  • ...la tua è solo invidia.

Per me Christelle Berthon è una delle più brave armoniciste esistenti. Sei patetico

    Alessio Peluso

  • @nighttrainjames Meriti risposta? Hai detto tutto su ciò che sei.

  • @AlessioPeluso1 Sì, tesoro, sono io quello che odio di Dago è, LOL!

  • Christelle sounds like a dude...real rug muncher. she sure can blow though.

  • Christelle is best known for the" Transgender Blues". Her first big tune was "Androgyny Ally."

Christelle pioneered a new style of harp based on crossharp called "Crossdress"

  • @Treefrogs2 She also pioneered interenet robbery...by advertising 30 euros for half an hour, but only giving you 15 minutes:( And of course she does the "transgender blues," that SHE was a HE, LOL!

  • you DO know you can buy harps that are in tune, right?

  • @logan1963uk Yes, but do YOU know that the sound quality on a $46 Kodak camera is terrible?

I've visited your site, your time would best be spent practicing, not hating.

  • @logan1963uk It also helps to play the right notes. Sorry, James, but that's just the way it is. You don't know the song.

  • @landztranz WOW! That would mean a lot more, if I thought you had anything to say in the first place...you do not, though:(

  • i live near sac and would have loved to have been there if i had only known,

  • @fattrucker01 If you belonged to SPAH you would have known - sorry about that, but lots of harmonica players keep posting the info ...we can't beat people over the heads with it. As many harp players as I follow, sites I visit - I keep mentioning SPAH, and the different cities where the convention is held each year. I've gone to 5 now. You might want to sign up with one of the harp lists where the many different conventions are talked about? harp-ldot com is one (that's an 'ell' not an 'eye').

  • cool .....

  • Rulz!

  • You are a great inspiration to all harmonica players on you tube!! Thanks.

  • give my pls the notes

  • i cant do it by ear , can somebody give my the notes

  • Night train James, You rule, sir.

  • wow..sooo nice

    thx nighttrainjames

  • Hi there, THANKS A LOT for this video, WOW that's so touching to see this...I'm speechless. Kisses and hugs

  • @christellester I just don't understand...

  • @nighttrainjames - neither do I, she didn't SEEM to think it "Zucked" back then....You do realize that she had some bad times in the USA after SPAH and then got all pissed off at the Judges for putting her in 2nd place at the World Harmonica Championships? I heard she was such a bad sport about it she was even threatening to commit Suicide. She pulled that video because she must have realized how Batshit Crazy she was painting herself. She has much talent but does "Not play well with others".

  • What's "SPAH?" Also, why do I wind up getting the mushroom treatment about these contests? Elkriver sent me a complimentary harp, sent me several glowing comments, then they ignore me when it's time to send out invitations :(

I can't compete with solo work done by guys like Jason Ricci, but like Son of Dave, I express myself with a loop machine.

Playing along with records is all fine and good, as Christelle does, but my stuff is all ME! b They should have a new category, I think.

  • I'm not sure what you mean by 'invitations'...I don't think any harmonica contests send them out..rather they're well-known annual contests (the one Quinoacat is talking about is held in Trossingen, Germany every year)...and the best harmonica players in the world apply (I think) for entry into the contest in various categories. Not sure how that's done, but you can certainly look into it. They have chromatic and diatonic categories.

  • When you got friends they make sure you share in good things. My little brother Ed said once that his fondest child-hood memories are of me falling back from the crowd (family of 9) and saying "Come on, Eddie, we're goin this way, we're gonna have fun!"

I don't get out near enough, and a personal invitation WOULD be nice once in a while.

  • Oh, I see what you mean. You meant that other people should have told you about the contests. I thought you meant that the contests themselves should send out the invites. I misunderstood. What you should know about Ms CB, is that you aren't the only one who feels 'used' by her financially. A group of 4 people chipped in to pay her expenses to Spah in 2009. She blew us all off, was extremely rude. I believe she thinks she's too good to work for a living, so others should pay for her cd.

  • Spah, btw, is the Society for the Preservation and Advancement of the Harmonica. Anyone can join. I keep trying to give you info about the website, then my comment won't post. :( They hold an annual Festival. Last year's was in Sacramento. 2010's will be in Minneapolis. Not inexpensive to attend, but 450 people came last year from all over the world. It's all harmonica all the time. Lots of pros, lots of ordinary players like me. TONS of fun. You find out just how many great players there are.

  • @nighttrainjames- SPAH stands for Society for the Preservation and Advancement of the Harmonica, and once a year they hold a big convention called the "SPAH convention". The World Harmonica Championships that quinoacat was refering to is a competition held in Trossingen, Germany once every 4 years. It doesn't have anything to do with ElkRiver Harmonicas (which no longer exists) so of course he's not going to send you, or anyone for that matter, an invitation.

  • @nighttrainjames James: ElkRiver is one young guy who worked to support his family at a 'real' job until that went belly up in his town, sold and repaired harmonicas, signing up as a rep with one Harmonica Co, finally moved to another state to join another co. He didn't make any real money as ElkRiver. He put on a small contest as part of his town's festivities to promote harmonicas, doing all of this out of love for the instrument and the players, getting friends to help judge the contest.

  • Love it thnx for sharing
