Fucking haters. "This is not metal..." Seriously? If you take something like Metallica or Black Sabbath or whatever, lower the tuning of the guitar/bass, scream/growl, and do faster drumming, you pretty much get deathcore. Its still fucking metal, just a different form. What makes mostly metal is the electric guitars anyway. So go listen to your preferred music and let ones that enjoy this spectrum of metal enjoy it peacefully.

@raveakidd hardcore is more for straightedgers that don't focus on death in lyrics. Also hardcore has less brutality in sound. Also regular hardcore has been around longer than deathcore. Bands like comeback kid and stick to your guns define hardcore. Deathcore is brutal, not necessarily 100% gore, but death is 99.9% guaranteed. Deathcore bands that are good: Despised Icon, Winds Of Plague, All Shall Perish, as blood runs black. Compare the two lyrically and musically and the difference is there
