  • whats wrong with the beta VCR? you said it has problems, what does it do? my VHS VCR is screwed up ends up eating the tape for some reason its a DVD combo so I bought another VCR on ebay, it should be here by next week and I will make a video about it.

  • It got a broken gear so the eject doesn't work right. Pretty annoying because it worked so well beforehand unlike many Sonys that get bad Sanyo caps.

  • Man these videos are really making me want to go get more cassette players!

  • RICKAAAAAAAYYYY

  • I have Sonic Adventure 2 on my GameCube, it's awesome.

  • I am 35 years old and still use 8 track cartridge....also if any of those snap in the player I know where to get them spliced.

Wanna hear about something really vintage? SEARS BRAND CASSETTE TAPES!!!

  • good day friend you have sharp unit 475h rd

  • oh yeahhh dire straits!

  • WOW, Israelites at 03:27. That song kicks ass!

  • Look at MDS 432 unitra tape recorder :)

  • You're right. That TC-100 has very good sound quality, particularly when you consider it's age. But electronics back then were built to last.

  • Oh ya they were sure built to last! And the quality of those old recorders-WOW. Today's cassette recorders, such as this certain GE one I have. WOW. The new GE units recording quality is HORRIBLE. Weak with lots of extra (DC Bias) backround noise.

  • Yeah, I found my mums CS-W220 stereo radio cassette recorder by AIWA, (Nowhere as old as the TC-100) and although the recording side no longer works, the other side has very good sound quality.

  • Man! I have A Sony TC-100 tape recorder but I can't get any sound out of it. It won't record either.

I like the game the little guy is playing! I'm a Big sonic fan.

  • What might be bad in the TC-100?

  • I think there's something wrong with one of the main circuit boards. Maybe the amp is dead or something. There isn't any visible problems.

  • Is a switch possibly oxidized of dirty and not making contact?

  • Not sure. I will have to open it again and see. It's not very easy to put back together once it's open.

  • Wow, just wow! You have the coolest collection!

Also to note, I have that SL-5000 Sony Betamax. Mine has sync issues, and I think it's bad electrolytics throughout.
