Thanks. I use the Pete's OpenGL2 Driver 2.9 plugin for the graphics. I record the footage using FRAPS and render out the video in Sony Vegas 8 Pro as a high quality wmv.

Man,let me thank you so much for this effort you did for all people who still play this fantastic game.Btw,it was one of my favs games (and first) who teached me english (im argentinian) and i love driver and driver 2,and if you got some time,please upload some soundtracks and specially the name of the song in the cutscene of the welcome to Las Vegas. :D

I remember finding out that you could ring the doorbell by accident. One day, I was just fooling around in Lakeside and randomly went up to the house and Tanner magically rang the doorbell. I thought it was so cool that the game could do that.

Lol I've fooled around with that garage numerous times... Me and my bro would always try to fit as many cars as we could into that garage but some would always disappear in the process defeating the purpose. I would do a similar scenario in a parking garage in North Las Vegas where I would park the cars in the spaces and try to fill up the garage... fun times!

Are you using CD-ROMS Or ISOs? because i need some help i got 2 driver ISOS and i have reached Vegas and i cant switch for some reason how can i make 2 ISOS into 1?

Hey kasper, I was using ISO's of my CDs when I was playing this. I found that running the game off of the hard drive is so much better than running it from CD. As for your problem, I had the exact same problem when Las Vegas came up. If I remember correctly, when the message came up what I did was insert the original Disk 2 CD and play one mission off of the CD as normal. I then saved it when the mission was done and then just loaded the disk 2 ISO from then on during the undercover mode.

I tried that okay nlet me know if i do something wrong: I load my last saved game from the disc 1 ISO and then press continue and then i insert CD2 and then i press ESC and toggle new disc and CD-ROM? thats what i do and nothing happens i have fraps and it stays at 2 FPS all the time no vegas help?

The way you mentioned seems to be right... basically, as you mentioned, you load the game with the ISO. You press continue and when the game tells you to insert Disk 2, you insert the disk in the drive. After doing this, you press ESC and go to file then Run CD-Rom. This way seems to be right, but its been a while since I've played Driver 2 on my computer... I will try to experiment within the next few days and reply back if any success comes up. For now, just keep trying different combinations.

I think i found the problem: when i change to disc 2 the game thinks that disc 1 is in the driver i dont know if you have had a problem like that but i you do please help me also you said that you were using ISO´s from your CDs right? could you tell me how to make a PSX ISO?

Rasermann999, I have always noticed this minor glitch : ). Yes, the seconds in the game are longer than normal seconds. They are about 30 milliseconds longer than normal seconds (at least thats what I've observed over the years of playing this game lol).

Awesome drive man! I like Vegas right beacause of it's large roads that make easy to drive and zig-zag around cars to make the cops crash up! But you rocks man! =)

He was in awe and was like "Damn Kev, I guess all those years off ripping the controller out of my hand and not letting me play these games has payed off." LOL. man awesome! now we can really see the kick ass skills you have up your sleeve! you were driving flawless, and made it look even better with all those near misses AND the police chase! just great... anyway, COOL!, for the first time on driver 2 I have seen an explsion! not that it did that much damage to the house though! XD
