This game does look like resident evil in space but the ability to use stasis on your enemy wile strategically removing their limbs gives it unique game play. I look foreword to its release this Halloween

Looks Good. Reminds me of RE4. The suit really shows of the detail capabilities of the PS3 and 360.

This game only shares the "omg f'ed up monsters" similarity with RE4. Aside from that everything is completely different. The setting, story, backround, monster anatomy, and even the gameplay style is different.

Really? What I see is a resident evil look alike with limited gameplay value. And if you think that this looks like the best game of the year because they show a trailer of one guy shooting the same type of enemy with the same gun over and over, then you have to see what else is out there. If it really is good, great, but I think its going to be crap

Explain why forming an opinion about a pre-release trailer is dumb; what would be th epoint of a teaser other than to give something to help you decide if you going to purchase it. Resident Evil used to be scary as hell, they seemed to have given up on scary and went for straight action :\

I just got DeadSpace and it's scary as hell, though they managed to make it very good with action too.

Good, Hearing that makes me want the game more. Resident Evil never was frightening. the only enemy that slightly scared the bajeezus out of me was Nemesis. Other than that..running away from a Zombie is far to easy

I'll say this, it takes elements from horror movies that you wish they did sooner. So far I'm very very happy with it, I'm only waiting for it to get darker outside so I can play with the full effect.
