Well, after having the flu my entire spring break... I was stuck in bed watching The Military Channel and i was watching a show called " (worlds most powerful tanks). I am a russian, canadian american and i must say... There was only 1 russian design and it was number 10 (out of 10) and aparently #1 was an Inpeneteral army tank with reactive armor and uranium ore and other classified elements. They tried to blow the tank up with airstrikes, and tank shells. Nothing penetrated this thing.

And another thing that I have to point out is, Allied air power played a crucial role during the war since they disrupted the German war machine by bombing the factories.

@Magnedudewon2 You can't blame Russia/Russian People for something that was decided by a georgian Psychopath (Stalin). Stalin was dumb. I would never trust People like Hitler but he did...for the first time. He killed innocent Russians, too. Stalin was paranoia, he thought everybody could be a Enemy and i really would kick his balls for what he have done in Poland, Russia and Ukraina.

@SovjetPhoenix Stalin was not dumb, he never trust hitler but he thought that hitler was logical(because he was told how smart he was by everone) so he thought that hitler would end the war with england, so he was tricked in that regard, but stalin didnt just go off and kill people most of the time he turned them into slave laber to industlies and save the country. thats y stalin so hard to name if was a monster but with out him hitler would have won the war, and everyone would speak german.

@jajazpfile No. It was the brutal winter that stopped the Germans from conquering them. The winter stopped a lot of countries that tried to conquer them. You Russians should thank us Americans and the Brits for sending you supplies.

@CrazyRussian188 The Soviet Union didnt declare war on japan until the last few days of the war,and even then they made zero impact because japan had basically surrendered.Last time I checked it was the U.S. that drove the Japanese across the Pacific,btw Japan had one of the best navies in the world,The U.S. had to build a navy.The U.S. was the most powerful military in the world at the end of WWII,with over 15 million in the military, the most powerful economy,and the atomic bomb.

Russia wouldnt have had a chance if the USA didnt push forward through the western front... if America never showed up russia would have the full force of the Wermacht pushing east. Russia lost 20 million against half of the german military... you put that other half theres another 20 mill YOU do the math and then reflect on it.

@NickWaugh78 You are the one that needs to read some WW2 history, in 1944 when USA was fighting in France, over 75% of Wehrmacht was still fighting on the Russian front. Plus when USA invaded France the German army was already in full retreat from Russia since 1943. You can learn from school history books you uneducated prat.

@paramonov1984 Well to be fair, Germany could have won the war in 1943 during the Battle of Kursk but when the Allies invaded Sicily Hitler decided to withdraw troops and equipment from the Battle and go down to Italy. So if the Allies hadn't opened a new front then Germany could have sent all of their men towards the USSR. And another thing that I have to point out is, Allied air power played a crucial role during the war since they disrupted the German war machine by bombing the factories.

@Khristophoros1001 The Germans only a small number of divisions to Sicily at that time, they always had at least 80% if their land forces on the Eastern Front after 1941. Allied air raids only started to have a significant impact on German war effort in 1944 when the war was already lost for Germany.

@paramonov1984, By 1944 about 60% or so of Nazi GROUND forces were on the Russian Front, & most of their fighter planes had been moved to the west to try & stop the allied strategic bombing. There were 57 nazi divisions in France & ~500,000 Germans in Italy & they weren't all static inf. divs. & were well equipped with weapons - including much captured USSR arty. pieces. There were also large nazi forces (~25+ divs. etc.) in Greece & the Balkans due to Tito's & many Greek etc. partisans.

@paramonov1984, Not anyone can dispute that the USSR bore the brunt of Axis ground & airforces from June 22, 1941 - Fall, 1943, however much Axis air, land, & most sea power was employed in the Atlantic, Western Europe & the Med. at this time.
If not for the Russian Front WWII may have lasted 5-6 more years but the nazis would have been nuked & Brit & USA jets were available & superior to the Me-262., so it would have been a matter of time until Hitler was defeated.

@paramonov1984 We know this. You guys think we say that we won ww2 single handedly. We never say this, The soviets broke down the german war machine. We did it on all sides though. The nazis were 15 miles from moscow. If they had all the troops there instead of on the western front they would most likely been in moscow. America has not intentions to touch russia. America has no colonies.America is controled by greedy rich people just like russia.Dont blame the people we have nothing to do wit it
