Possibly complaints about these missions(from annoying stupid kids -13) have caused the creators (Naughty Dog) to decrease the difficulty in missions.
The games reccomended 14+ anyways!

Same here. I prefer Jak 2 because the missions are more challenging. Jak 3 is great, but the missions are too easy.
