@DranWho, Just to clarify, Lost and Flash Forward are absolutely not written by the same people. Lost is written by Damon Lindelof, J.J. Abrams and Carlton Cuse primarily, and Flash Forward is written by David S. Goyer of Batman Begins and Dark Knight fame.

Gee, I wonder what would happen if the scientists in the FlashForward universe (or should I say Multiverse) were running a partical accelleration experiment at the same time John Locke neglected to "push the button" for 2 minutes and 17 seconds in the LOST universe. (Or should I say MULTIVERSE)

But Charlie is a character in Flash Forward. They wouldn't make him a character if the tie in was DIRECT. However, obviously they do tie together.

A coincidence. When you start looking for numbers you find them everywhere xD There was no particular reason for you to start at the point that you did. Also you missed the "Island is in a river" possible tie in.

It was 2004-05 on the island when the hatch exploded, on Flash Forward it's real time, 2009... So the explosion could't have caused the black out.
