  • That website still isn't up...

  • Yea its been over a year and the website is still in the making...

  • jeez that goddamn website is still not up

  • wah this is a year old and the website is still not up

  • The heat from frying is going to destroy nearly all of the nutrients and it will imbue trans-fats and saturated fats. Steaming also destroys nutritional value of vegetables.

  • ugggggggggggggggg

  • I have a research paper due tomorrow, yet I'm wasting my time watching food reviews.

  • Jeff, Any steel watches you wear? mine showing a review on all your timepeices and watches? thanks

  • i wish i had one of those stores near me. =( i love green beans

  • Only in America they can make healthy food unhealthy.

  • Heheheheheheh hoodathunkit? lmao

  • make your own :)

  • How long do those things last?

  • Also, you should try making them yourself since you grow them.

  • You should try out gunpowder green tea. It can be a great replacement for morning coffee, plus for some reason because the leaves are rolled up it has more antioxidants(I guess it preserves them). Many say they don't get that crash like coffee causes. If you do though, just make sure you prepare it by boiling half the water and then mix in half that's cold after you brought it to a boil. Then only steep the tea for UP TO(just wanted to emphasize that) 4 minutes(beyond that is a waste).

  • omg.......i want some now....like....NOW.....XDD

  • Do you live in nanticoke?

  • Must be a PA Dutch thing, good thing I knew a couple places to check.

  • too bad my personality sucks. but not a much as Fabio Crow Sucks at life!

  • if you like spicy try wasabi peas, they are great.

  • @dirtymungoo hell yeah,my mom loves wasabi peas

  • Im going to actually have to buy those. . . Bet my mom is going to enjoi them.

  • show the mantis's in ur garden and , do a garden update plz

  • I Love Green Beans heated with some butter

    

  • @beldboy Same

  • Hey, I use this little "chart" type thing for describing food. something healthy is a "go" food, a middleground is a "slow" food, and something like icecream is a "no" food. kinda childish, but i thought i'd share it.

  • do thay taste like the ones at tgi fridays?????

  • you live in PA... do a review of Middleswarth Chips!

  • i can taste it right now

  • i love pineapple

  • Missed this one, never saw it in my subscription vid list on the homepage. I was watching your recent Glock test vids and has seen this vid off to the side. Strange, YT is quirky like that.

  • Jeff, You should try wasabi peas too they are awesome and usually found in the ethnic food section of almost all large groceries.

  • No, that's not healthy. It's like saying chocolate milk is okay. Sadly milk does not cancel out the sugar. Green beans does not cancel out the deep fried aspect.

Good luck to you, stay with it, and please don't fall for the illusion of healthy foods that are deep fried, sugared up, or loaded with fat. It's like wrapping a carrot in feces, it's not good for you.

  • @LooseLatitude Total fat is only 7g so that is not bad. Since there is no breading to absorb the fat it is a HEALTHIER option I think most would agree.

  • @bobcat224 What's healthier? A twinky(side note: did he ever get around to those?) or a cheescake? See my point? The key is what's healthy and what's not healthy. Weighing two non healthy items against each other is not going to help at the end of the day.

Don't trust what the labels say. FDA regulations say that if there's >0.5g of trans fat than it can be labeled as have no trans fat.

  • @LooseLatitude Total fat is only 7g so that is not bad. Since there is no breading to absorb the fat it is a HEALTHIER option I think most would agree. Also it was nonhydrogenated so no trans fats either.

  • I thought that you were going to do a video about being sprayed in the face by the Inferno Pepper Spray.

  • @OriginalMkylem Oh I would watch that for sure but that would take some serious balls. (no offense Jeff, I'm just sayin)

  • anything deep fried is good!

  • Lol the beginning of the vid made me rofl! xD i like these reviews too ;P

  • You should make some, it can't be hard. I'm eating goldfish and nearing the end of the bag right now! Good video friend!

  • Dude Jeff, you can eat whatever you want and as much as you want but just gotta work it off. But dont go eatin Micky D's for a week straight or whatever

  • Very cool - This company is local to me and I had no idea they existed. I'll be checking out their other products.

  • that is awesome, i really like the variety of your videos. they are all very interesting, and informative. 5/5!!!

  • idk about fried string beans, but i hate regular string beas =[

  • I love your Food Reviews! do more please!

  • you should grow a goatee, that would be sweet

  • hey jeff if you're planning on changing ur lifestlye check out this guys channel he's the best. scooby1961

he has awesome vids on losing weight and what to eat

  • hey coutlerylover, my family has been making these for years. its such a good thing to eat!!! we just grow em in our garden, pick em, and fry them up in butter with a little salt MHMHMHMHMH!!!!

  • lol most of your vids are 8 to 10 minutes long

  • @AhzarielAngelus Actually it only seems over populated due to us taking their enviroment.

  • @AhzarielAngelus thanks, actually I catch and release fish, lol, but thats only cause I like fishing but dont eat bass often which is what I like to fish.,..If I injur a fish on accident though I do kill it I dont throw it back...

  • @TheFirearmsChannel hmm looks like multicolored cheeseburgers to me!

  • I hate you! now im hungry!

  • @parksy6908 Go eat food then.

  • @iwdfan well played

  • if it's that expensive, since there are no additives or something, you could always try making them yourself. You said you had tons of fresh green beans and if you experiment a little on cooking time and amound of salt it'll be much cheaper than buying them. Also it'll taste better because you know you made them yourself :D

  • You should try frying your own, would be way cheaper and you could control exactly how much oil and salt you use! Maybe even add a little chilli to the pan.

  • Sounds like they might be a good trail snack.

  • There are Banana Chips that are made like that and they are kinda delicious.

  • wow. watching some fatass eating a crappy excuse for green beans. how sad. you will always be fat dude. live with it.

P.S. i know this will get a ton of hate mail, but i stand by my comment! BRING IT ON PEOPLE.

p.s.s. i will not be replying to hate mail

  • try atkins diet, very effective!

  • I see what you mean by you start to be interested in their personal life and their personality.

I consider you a friend, even though we don't know eachother.

Kinda creepy now that I think about it.

  • almost 5 mins in and no greenbean review :)

  • y would u destroy the healthy taste of green beans

  • There is a restaurant here that makes green beans fried in a batter like an onion ring.. very good IMO

    These look good too.

Think you could dehydrate some of yours for the same effect and a more healthy version?

BTW.. you talked me into watching TGO a while back and now I'm gonna end up buying a pug, cause he won't stop showing his off over there... so you're costing me money again, indirectly LOL

  • hehehehe... Fried String Beans :) Love it!

  • @TheFirearmsChannel.

I'm seeing an ad with a large strawberry frosted cupcake. And of course I just had to click on it!

    You're welcome, Jeff :)

  • i like the fried pickels from hooters. they're really tasty, and u get to look at titties while ur eating them.

  • i don't know if you drink a lot of soda Jeff, but if you do don't drink diet. its actually worse for you because it has more caffeine which can lead to cancer.

  • You need to try pickled green beans. if you can't find em, then make your own. They are awesome.

  • Thats a great mindset and idea, to get in shape more. I think if you got super in shape, and GAINED 10lbs of musc le (While turnng any fat you have into muscle) you'd be dangerous.. LOL. great vid! I havnt had those specifically, but i'm really into 'weird' foods. great vid, i'll check them out some day!

  • I'm still trying to get my mind around the name "green bean chips"..... I can't say that I ever expected to see those words standing together in the same sentence.

As you said $5 for 5 ounces is pretty stiff. If you have your own green bean plants then perhaps you could roll-your-own so to speak and save a wad of cash cooking them yourself (I've made homemade potato chips and fries and my kids actually like them).

  • looks good, you should try making them yourself with the beans from your garden.

  • what do u hold ur camera with?!?!?!

  • You can broil green beans in the oven.

Lay the Green beans on aluminum foil in a baking tray and salt and pepper them lightly, and just broil on high for about 1-2 mins. They taste AMAZING.

    Or grill them =)

Both options are both healthier and probably tastier

  • How many normal chips you would get for the money.... :D

  • there is no such thing as the canola plant. it is a manufactured unhealthy cheap oil.

  • @metaphysikz101 .....Yes there is a Canola plant and the oil it produces is considered to be healthier than many other cooking oils. Then plant its self was produced by selective breeding of the rapeseed plant. It was developed in Canada thus the name Canola means CANadian Oil Low Acid. I learned all of this in five minutes by doing a little research.

  • @stogiemalt forgot to read the part that it is toxic at room temperature?

  • PAUL IS THE MAN!!!!!!!

  • @Speedogg138 thanks!

  • Wow when you moved the back away from the camera real quick the out of focus hurt my eyes. lol. but good review/video as usual.

  • Better options to a health chip in order of healthyness in my opinion Terra Chips, Pita Chips, Sun chips. Terra chips are Different root Vegetables that are sliced like chips and baked with salt, so they taste like potato chips but not oily, a very lightly salted, you should try them, the bag usually looks black with all sorts of colored chips, i love them.

  • i like these vids as well! food fetishes can be awfully debilitating =[

  • Hey jeff,

In Pakistan and India we have similar snacks. We have spiced peas which are also salted also we have these beans called Mong beans which are the best. If you happen to find yourself in an Asian food store I recommend you find them :)

  • do they have sour cream and onion, or bbq flavor ? :)

  • Hi Jeff

got to say that if you want to lose weight, you shouldnt eat carbs(beans, potatoes, pasta) because its the main thing that gains the weight. You should get on the protein diet and eat moslty meat. Believe me, I know what Im saiyng, because i was eating a lot of carb food and weighted 192 lbs, but when I went on meat diet, after a half year I was and am now 165 lbs :). this works

So good luck on peeling these pounds off : )

    ...Tac...

  • those look really good actually.

  • can u make them urself?

  • What are u going to do for ur 1000th video.

  • 9 minute video, 4 minute review. lol

  • Oh boy, just looked at the heath facts, and sadly, that is one of those deceptive health foods. Looks good for you thanks to marketing, but really is not. (Sort of live Vitamin Water.) I bet those chips taste good though.

And I reaaaally wanted to eat them when I saw them in the video.

  • @experimentjon if you really like chips and already eat them these are better tasting (mmy opinion) and slightly better for you,. if you a health nut and eat soy and tofu you wouldn't want to switch to these thats all

  • @cutlerylover Yea I understand, Good luck :) Oh and and btw I love your videos :)

  • @cutlerylover Jeff, I have yet to meet a person who doesn't like chips. :D

My approach to eating healthier is mainly cutting the soda. Saves money too. Water, skim milk, and diet soda FTW. Cutting out beer helps a lot too.

  • More and more time i spent following your channel, i realise how good a person you are. You have a lot respect for others and that tell us a lot! You have been one of the best channel on youtube i watch, and it keep showing, wathever you are reviewing, just sound great. Good job, hope you'll be around for long... My first language is french so i hope you understand what i have to say!!! Lol Take care Jeff.

  • @cadrician Thanks, I find that a lot of people outside the US tend to have better spelling and grammar than many US citizens for some reason, haha, you were more legible than most american comments...I tend to have lots of errors but thats because I have to type all the time and have too many messages to keep going back to fix my errors...Anyway thanks for the nice comment!

  • 30g of carbs for 1.5oz? Holy shit

  • @jrmym2 wll look at the container it has 5.5 its really not that bad its pry like 15 pieces so thats like 2carbs each not that bad

  • @jrmym2 less than most chips, although I just looked at a bag of all natural plain ruffles and they have 14g of carbs per 1 ounce so its less but not much less...however alot less flavor...

  • IM HUNGERY ~.~

  • Hey Jeff,id like to say that when i saw food review in the tittle i was like wtf,but after watching this i think that its a good and origanal idea to review food.

it would be cool if you did more food review, like you said everyone eats so why not lol

    awsome video buddy

  • @asg00001 well this was a request, as I have done other food reviews, I did a 50 minute videos on eating a militarty MRE, and another video reviewing some christmas presents which were exotic jerkey and spicy nuts, lol...

  • awsome love it

  • You have a real talent in speaking well; I always enjoy your videos.

  • @EthanTheEnigmatic thank you

  • Try them raw in ranch dressing...it tastes awesome trust me.

  • @LedZeppelin13k7 haha now with dressing im sure they are even better but your talking more calories, and light ranch just isnt the same, haha

  • I wouldn't call those healthy at all! Deep fried and salted; they're very unhealthy, and as for the health benefits- those where taken out during the deep frying process.

  • @Senkatuka23 your right...but its still a green bean, it does have health benafits, just not as many as when fresh

  • I'm pretty sure you now officially got the most random collection of reviews on youtube... They're all pretty cool though

  • @m3phisto666 lol yeah

  • OMG THE FRIED OKRA SNACKS AT CENTRAL MARKET HOUSTON ARE AMAZING.

  • Dextrin is a sweetener.

Do you have a deep fryer? try making your own.

Green beans have less starch then potatoes and more nutrition.

Its teotwawki and there you are picking green beans and deep frying them !

  • You should do a cooking with Cutlerylover =D

  • You have to try fried okra,it really good............DKG

  • @DesertKnifeGuru sounds good!

  • Cool

  • I bet you could easily make these yourself

  • @Flash9590 I might try it sometime

  • i wish my store had some

  • twinkie time?

  • @ed781 close, sept 2nd will be exatly 6 months

  • I cant figure out in my head how these would taste...

Im going to have to try this out...

  • But what if we're NOT human O.0?

  • @1113stve then its spare dead batteries for a snack as usual...

  • @cutlerylover mmmm tasty

  • you should make videos of you loosing weight as well, they will keep you motivated and you have enough subscribers you might have people join with you. just an idea but if you're very serious about it putting it on youtube could add some excitement to it :)

  • @SmileWidePro I thought about it for a long time, but I just want to keep that private thats all....I already have too many other types of videos I cant start a whole other subject at this point, lol

  • wats up wiff da twinkies yuh put away 2 eat

  • @faze19124 oh yeah i remember that that was a while ago it was probably thrown out

  • @faze19124 sept 2nd will be 6 months and time to eat the 1st one

  • Unrelated, but can you review a really crappy knife for a change?

  • @zanuha true that!

  • @zanuha possibly, I like the idea, lol

  • they look yummy :)

  • I'm not human

  • @flobberdob69 im more human than human - rob zombie

  • could you dehydrate them and add them to a backpacking meal

  • @gilmou1 yes an even healthier option than this for a trail side snack

  • haha dude i just got blueberries and pinapple from the store this week

  • Wow they look awesome! since they don't have many ingredients it should be simple to make them at home right? I reckon I'll give it a go they look great

  • I am not a Human but i like to eat ,

    should i be worried ?

  • @TheAlen081 not at all, robots and aliens eat too, you know

  • @TheAlen081 Don't eat this, because u will blow up! Only humans can handle the massive bomb of nutrients!

  • you should make another perserve video.

  • ive seen things like these but they were pea pod kinda things.

  • @anasianguy09 Soy Bean Pods

  • did u do that twinkie thing

  • North Carolina baby!!!!

  • This is just an idea but you should look into going vegetarian it is so much more healthy.

  • @iwdfan do your research because being vegetarian is only good if you are trying to lose weight and thats because your body cant digest cellulose, the key ingredient in plants. When it comes to health in general however, being a balanced omnivore is far more healthy.

  • @klrrbt Ahem, do your research getting your protein, and other needed things from plants where it naturally comes from is more healthy then from meat.

  • @iwdfan I just like meat too much, I dont frown upon vegans at all, and I dont want to get all religious or anything, but meat was put on this planet for us to eat...

  • @cutlerylover If thats what you believe that is very okay, i was just suggesting a more healthy alternative. If you wish to continue consuming meat then do so. I myself believe that the animals were put here to live not die.

  • @iwdfan not that I want to encourage and argument, but if I can ask an honest question to you...even if we dont kill animals they will kill each other to survive, we ARE animals as well whats the difference between us killing a hog instead of a wolf killing one?

  • @cutlerylover I understand how you would think that, but that wolf has no choice if he doesn't do it he will die. We have a choice no need for that animal to die for us when he could live his life long and full.

  • @iwdfan what you need to realize if you beelive in sciense at all is that there is a balance on this planet, if we dont kill and eat animals they will overpopulate and that effects the entire ecosystem and every other precious animal on this planet, I have see the effect 1st hand, 2 years ago it in my own area we had too many deer, it was sick to see all these deer everyday all skinny walking around unhealthy, the town had to have a masive hunt to bring the population down, and it worked

  • @cutlerylover i want to add to this, if humans didn't bring the population down then the deer population would've crashed, then the wolves/other predators would start wandering around, possibly through ur own neighborhood looking for food, do u want a starving wolf walking through ur backyard? also, the wolf population would eventully crash as well, leaving few predators to hunt deer, which would then allow the deer population to grow...out of control again, and then we're back where we started

  • @john1112112 its not just animals your talking about its the plants they eat and the other animals they eat or eat them which directly effect our life and the weather everything living is conneted including us, where here for a reason its a balance

  • @cutlerylover =] well said

  • @cutlerylover i completely agree and also iwdfan you need to do some research in the fact that sure you can get protein from soy however it is far less enjoyable and also meat contains the necessary amino acids that go with the protein unlike the proteins found in plants. The simple biological concept of like begetting like is what makes meat simply better for overall health as opposed to vegetables. We evolved to be omnivores for a reason. besides we arent the only animals eating other animals!

  • @iwdfan lol, I frown on vegans, it's honestly not a healthier lifestyle if you think about it. I mean, what if dogs switched? would they be healthier? Nope, They'd die. Same for us, we are meant too eat BOTH not just one. We need vitamins and minerals form BOTH food groups. So meat in a healthy quantity IS healthy.

  • dude, i went to walmart and i was going to buy Carrot chips, because they looked awesome, but i bought the regular ones instead D: (mini carrots)

  • yeahhhhhhhhhh cutlerylover food food food food food food food!

  • if you take green beans put some olive oil and garlic powder and put them in the oven on 350 till there is some browning on them and there all bendy there amazing

  • Im really curious to hear how much you eat/drink per day and what you eat and drink. If you could give me a rough list that would be great. Also how much exercise you do. thanks

  • @aquafinabo lately I have been eating hot oatmeal for breakfast with fresh fruit, usualy banana or blueberries, at lunch I have cold cuts no break just rolled up if I do have bread its been rye, dinner has been a protein chicken beef or fish plus a veggie as for snacks I dont snack often any more but when I do its more fruit or fresh veggies, been doign this for 3 weeks now and lost 10 lbs, I also walk exatly 1.3 miles everyday after dinner, I also substute my soda for light ice tea or water

  • @cutlerylover Nice man! i hope it goes well for you, keep it up!

  • So is it the salt that makes food like that addictive? Didn't know that!

  • @rabbit54 I woudl say yeah mopst of the time the salt makes you want more...
