This track is primal and taps into you (or Turok's) animalistic urge to kill. The native chants and drum beats only further pushes that aesthetic as well as Turok himself being a savage killer. This game rewarded you for brutal kills with the knife/bow (Mortal Wound) so I like how this game celebrated death and violence. This game was genius and none of the sequels ever lived up to this underrated gem.

Turok is one of the best FPS for the N64 along with Goldeneye 007 and Perfect Dark.The sequals are good enough but this one stands out to be the best in the Turok series because of it's scary atmosphere and Jungle setting.

if you use cheats and use that particle gun that freezes enemies you can freeze the monkey if you're fast enough and watch it explode, i've done it before.

you can actually kill the monkeys! use the slow motion cheat to slow them down, then use your chronoscepter on them...monkeys go kaboom! yeah...i played the hell out of this game just to find out how to kill them!
