@VicariousReality7 I have only used the most inexpensive shells, from Remington, Winchester, and Federal. All are rated from 1200 to 1250 FPS. All three brands seem to perform the same, and have proven to be reliable. They have a very high energy transfer to most things you are shooting at, so rather than pass through something, the projectile transfers most of its energy into the object very quickly. They are really interesting rounds.

Any idea on what happens to the projectile after it hits? I assumed it kind of expands/explodes to some extent but after seeing how it punched through the computer hard drives, maybe there is some thing left of the slug or whatever you can call it? lol

@Skullofsmoke Most of the time the rounds break back down to wax and birdshot after hitting most objects. The only time I saw where they didn't do this was when they hit cardboard. The inside of the hard drive was coated with wax so I am assuming the impact generates a lot of heat and liquifies the wax.  We really didn't find any of the rounds afterwards.

I used to have some wild times at the indoor shoot range... Green army men with a .22 at 50 ft can be fun.... Better yet is the stuffed animal FILLED with ketchup packets. We even had the penny and dime challenge... We all put in a few bucks... Every one gets 1 shot at the 50 foot mark to hit a coin..Best "hit" on the coin wins... Much harder than you think
