Forgive me if i sound fanboy-ish, but all of the BlazBlue tournament fights and combo movies look strangely unimpressive. I'm sure they are way more experienced than I am, but Guilty Gear series looked more fun and when the player was skilled , you could tell right away from his moves. I guess it has something to do with the amount of repertoire of combos or the way characters are designed. Am I the only one feeling this?

I think I'm more personally going to say you're just an older guy looking at how difficult things were to pull off back then compared to now where things look a little easier or more fluid... We can look at old mario and new mario and, me and possibly you, can say old mario was harder/seems more impressive than new mario simply because that's what we grew up with, but they have their impressive feats..

I think its just a matter of how much you've got accustomed to GG. BB is more newbie friendly than GG, so I think thats why the guy adores BB so much.

Yeah, he's probably the best competetive Ragna in Japan. It might sound overexaggerated, but it's really not. Takes some outstanding skill to become a famous player by maining one of the more common characters.

Take a look at 1:50, Kaqn knew that burst was coming so he set up an easy combo, rapid canceled just as he saw the burst, then took the win all the same.

Well Noel's bread and butter combos are actually not your standard fare and I think Jin has an easier learning curve to learning his combos than she does, seeing as he doesn't have any throw cancel motions in his combos, which in Noel's case are ESSENTIAL to his game play

Ragna's F+A, or his Dead Spike? I've played against Jin a lot, and you can't hit him before during, or after the move. even if you attack way before him. I think it's a bit fair how he can use it out of taking hits as well. No kinda recovering frames or anything.

he cant use his slash in the middle of a combo if thats wat your saying, wasnt sure, but the only reason it looked like he did in this vid was because the combo had ended ragna didnt imput his command fast enough which left enough time for jin to input his move, as far as recovery jins move takes a VERY long time to recover from if he misses the entire time it takes him to sheath his sword he can be hit, ragnas move i was referring to is his F+D+DF C or Drive which he does and uppercut motion.
