  • @TheBrendo525 "Christmas eve/Sarajevo" is a song/video by Trans Siberian Orchestra. It's also on Youtube

cool45010's comment had nothing to with where places were

  • @TheBrendo525 Sarajevo is in Bosnia. If was the capitol of the former Yugoslavia (which included Serbia and Bosnia) but your attempt at a geography lesson on a song title failed.

  • @LAMF420 That's cool, but it was a simple misreading on my part, feel free to freakout if you need too

  • Best Christmas Song Ever By Mannheim Steamroller!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • This should be rocky balboa song

  • @BRUCETDKWAYNE this statement makes no sense, this shouldn't ever be used in any movie, only digital stuff, like a very tron christmas or something

  • @Wheatwill umm it actually does, calm down and grow your wheat :)

  • One of the best songs ever. This and "Fum, fum, fum" are mannheim's two best songs.

  • Love this song and all their Christmas music! This is one of my very very favorites!

    Namarie, God bless, Piptane :)

  • Merry christmas!

  • Comment removed

  • Merry Christmas everyone!

  • This version pretty much matches my "holiday mood" xP

  • HAPPY HOLIDAYS EVERYONE MAY YOU AND YOURS BE WARM AND SAFE

  • Manheim Steamroller is the best band for Christmas music.

NO arguments will be tolerated. Dissent will be dealt with.

  • Finally! Someone has the version I'm looking for!!

  • my favorite part starts at 2:04

  • this is so epic and AWSOMEMATIC

  • I love Mannheim<3

  • I think this is definitely the best version of this song out there. Mannheim Steamroller is the best for Christmas songs!

  • thanks to my mom, i find this very relaxing. my math teacher will play this sometimes, i like it a lot now

  • this sound like an undergorund boss battle in super mario and i love this song so much i subbin

  • It's awesome that you guys play the instruments. :D I play the piano and I love the solo in the middle of this song. I couldn't play it at that tempo for my life. XD Absolutely love this song. <3

  • I imagine Santa plays this while delivering gifts, pulling loops as he's flying, dodging missiles from fighter planes or something.

  • I'm a horn player and I still marvel at the horn parts written in this version - so much power, grace and beauty rolled into one.

  • @lmorganmoore im in percussion as a timpani player... still amazing!

  • I drive my entire family insane because I play the Mannheim Steamroller Christmas CD every second of the day starting the week before Christmas and ending on New Years. Seriously. It gets kind of addicting. xD

  • @SuckerForTragicDeath I do too lol

  • This is the best version of God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen

  • Loveeee it!!!

  • chip davis is the best composer of all time in my book!

  • Playing this for our highschool Christmas concert. We're huge fans of Steamroller. We've played many pieces by him, but this is our favorite. You learn to appreciate everyone's part.

  • @aprilangel94 Yup. I've never been a huge fan of the French Horn, but I realize now that it really is a might instrument from hearing it in this song. This song makes me so happy and full of excitement. Merry Christmas :).

  • @TheWoogie2 The French Horn is one of those seemingly deceptive instruments (you think it's nothing special) - until someone of real talent plays a note that just seeps into your bones. Then the true power of the horn seeps in.

  • @PottersHallows Definitely.

  • @aprilangel94 thats wierd my highschool is too

  • mannheim steamroller is my favorite great vid

  • I love this song. Favorite Christmas song:)

  • really good band!!!!!!!!!!

  • ryu vs santa!! round 1!!! fight!!! shinku hadoken!!!!

  • love the trombone :)

  • @ichigo9834 yeah same here

  • @ichigo9834 actually, most of the early melody is french horn

  • @dinocubfan In the arrangement that we have in our high school band is that the baritone horn and the tenor saxophones have that beginning solo, so... I'm pretty sure it's all about what arrangement you have.

  • I waited until 12:00 on thanksgiving night, what I consider to be the beginning of the christmas season, to listen to this song. well worth the wait.

  • i dont believe it. for the past three years I though that TSO did this song. It was only until a few minutes ago that I saw them on the Macy's parade that I recognized the sound...MANHEIM STEAMROLLER and TSO ROCK!!!

  • @100DiddlySquatxx

A good way to tell is that TSO doesn't have any horns. :)

  • I LOVE MANNHEIM STEAMROLLER! Please guys come back to Columbus!!!

  • This sounds like something you would hear on an NFL Films highlight reel

  • For those of us who own all of Mannheim Steamroller's music, and may be looking for something else, please take a moment and watch the Video Response above, or just click rhnvtn.

  • greatest christmas song i ever heard! i listened to it on the radio many times before and never knew who did it! thanks all the fans who told me!

  • I've been listening to Manheim Steamroller since I was born. I knew thier songs before I understood music. And this is my favorite of their Christmas Songs.

    Thanks Chip Davis.

  • i just went to their concert today in bartlesville. it was AMAZING!!

  • Brilliant!

  • It took me FOREVER to find this song! My sister and I kept trying to remember what it was called. I love this song so much :D I love to turn it up loud and just listen :)

  • This song rocks!!! God its so fun and uplifting. I made a roller coaster video from rct3 for the holidays, this song is the background. ITs gonna be sooo cool. I might upload it. I love los peces el en rio, that is soo pretty too. Mannheim Steamroller is awesome. I love christmas, we (fam and I) always drive around town and see all the light displays in our town. So fun.

  • what album is this....I've been looking for it...such good childhood memories!

  • what album is this....I've been looking for it...such good childhood memories!

  • Sounds like a good song to be played in the background of a football highlight reel...preferably around christmas

  • I was not even paying attention to the song and I still felt the music. I realized I was laughing for joy about my chemistry reading. This music is potent stuff.

  • I feel 11 again... at my grandmother's house, reading old National Geographic Magazines from the 1980s... and listening to this in July for who knows why...

  • <33

  • September 9, 2010... listening to christmas music 3 months earlier... yo this is awesome!!!

  • one stupid person accidentally disliked this amazing song

  • this song is so epic!

  • JUST AS GOOD AS TSO

  • this song sounds great on guitar with lost of dist.

  • I saw Mannheim tonight and they were great. My brother can play this song on the piano, and it sounds almost as great as when Mannheim Steamroller plays it.

  • i would love to do a ballet dance to this song for my recitle! so beautiful...

  • I love this song! You take a cheesy Xmas song and almost make it a masterpiece. It is is amazing.

  • @beingbrave Cheesy? Seriously? God rest ye merry gentlemen is one of the least cheesy songs I know. How is it even cheesy? No, something like Rock around the Christmas Tree is cheesy, definately not this. And I know you were referring to the old version, but seriously, cheesy? No.

  • I LOVE this song; sounds like a boss battle in a Christmas game or something!

  • same here, loved this song since i was little!

  • @nucleicavalanche No kidding. :) I'd buy that game!

  • @nucleicavalanche I'm with boss battle.

  • @nucleicavalanche LMFAO!!! you just hit the nail on the head there.

  • @nucleicavalanche It kind of IS a boss battle in a Christmas game, in a way, if you consider the lyrics' story of Jesus and Satan battling for us who have gone astray!

  • @muppets3377 Yeah, you're right! I've never thought of that! Maybe you can be a game designer! ^_^

  • @nucleicavalanche you right it does sound like a boss battle theme

  • @nouka89 Hehehehe ^_^

  • @nucleicavalanche I vote some type of anime game- like Pokemon

  • @nucleicavalanche perfect description. mega man Christmas.

  • i wanna see mannheim steamroller live my favorites by MS are God Rest Ye Merry Gentleman and Deck the halls its awesome

  • high 5 . i completly agree

  • If you ever get the chance do it. I saw them 2 years ago and man was it powerful with the video and lights.

  • i saw mannheim steamroller live years ago and it was totally awesome! definitely go for it!

  • I was listening to this, trying to pick my favorite part of it, and then I realized I couldn't because the whole thing is just so awesome :D

makes me smile everytime I hear it.

  • Chip Davis is from Omaha, Nebraska. Everyone in Nebraska has seen MS many times.

  • Not everyone their tickets are like $100 for the Nosebleeds. But yeah a majority of Nebraskans don't know they are from Omaha.

  • You paid $100 for the Nosebleeds? You got robbed. Last night's performance was in the $40 (balcony) to $77 (best seats orchestra level) range. Was it worth it? Yup, I got great seats and the performance was dynamite (and I am *not* from Omaha).

  • It was their annual day after christmas concert so the seats are quite pricey at the quest. But hey center back you can see everything!

  • I saw Mannheim Steamroller in Fresno, CA last night - great concert. However, Chip Davis wasn't there. He has had a recent surgery on his neck. Great concert!

  • Fans of Mannheim Steamroller just MAY enjoy "The Christmas Project" as well.

    (Watch the first video response)

  • 25 years of his Christmas music and still counting. It has more of a Renissance flair with rock and roll infused. He has had the #1 best selling Christmas music for years - and believe 2009 also.

  • @rubyjking sweet

  • Just heard this song for the first time ever on the christmas station in my car, awesome song

  • Sad for you for never having heard it before! But welcome to one of the best Christmas songs ever.

  • Grew up to this music love it It must be christmas

  • @MrSports29 Reminds me of my childhood Christmas in florida with all my family, dark front room, christmas tree lite up! cold outside....grandparents and everyone sleeping, including the cat and dog. Christmass is never the same when you grow up and everyone dies or moves away...well......all good things will pass......

  • i love the piano, very powerful, almost makes me wanna play again. lol

  • Wow this song is crazy. We're playing it for our christmas concert and i just got the music for the crazy piano part on friday and i have to learn it by tomorrow's rehearsal... It'll be fun to play tho

  • MAN I wish we could play this for our concert. except we have 1 euphonium(baritone) and he sucks like mad. and we got 2 french horns. wait, we only have 1. 1 of 'em quit :[

but anyways, i play tenor sax. soooo yeah.

    wish we could play this for band. :{

  • i'm playing it for my concert. along with polar express, ( like the hardest version they have b/c symphonic band and Wind Ensemble are playing it together) Fire Dance and On the wings of magic

  • omg but it sounds so awsome and we play it too but i plzy sax/bass clarent

  • All the songs are awesome, i just hated polar express b/c i can't play half the song, so i stare at the paper like wtf am i doing. And i did that at the concert started at Polar express not knowing what the hell I was doing, what a fun way to end a concert. oh and the best part was the flutes were on risers in the pit, the lights were directly above us, so it's like every one can see us b/c we were a few feet from the audience.

  • By far the best Christmas song ever.

    EVAR!

  • My favorite part is the strings bit starting at 2:40.

  • No way! I was just about to post the same thing :o

  • Definitely

  • my Favorite Christmas song ever!

    LOVE IT

  • only good Christmas song to be made. other than Paul McCartney singing.

  • thank you for sharing!!!

  • i played this in full orchestra last year (school symphony) on the bassoon. we had smoke and neon lights and it was epic

  • I'm playing this in band this year as well :) I love this song. Its my ringtone.

  • i am playing this in band and the first time the main riff is played it is French Horn the 2nd is Baritone

  • yea i just played it in band and i love playing this song as baritone

  • One of my favorite MS songs I grew up listening to this over and over again at Christmas :)

  • I absolutely love this!

and for CCCPvideos, I'm almost positive that is a trombone. =] Either that or a baritone, but I highly doubt it.
