@WitDaBeardies Autotune doesn't have to be T-Pain. It can just be pitch correction to make your voice sound always on tune. You can tell that she was out of tune on a lot of parts and it was fixed, and therefore sounds unnatural.

@JonathanChunPrevenge Yes, probably small portions of the song are autotuned. And it is a homemade acapella. It may seem to sound unnatural but that is because the song wasn't made for people to create acapella's with. So it may sound a little off tune.

@WitDaBeardies This is the direct vocal stem from the song, I don't know what you mean by "homemade acapella", this person had access to the actual tracks of the song. Every singer has in some way pitch corrected his or her vocals, and this is a fact. And when one pitch corrects vocals, you usually have a MIDI track set to the notes of the melody, which would ensure that it is always the correct note.

@xStandeR I produce bands, dude. Autotune is a pitch correction software that has various degrees of noticability. Every single vocal track that you hear in any given song on the radio or not, obvious or not, is in some way autotuned. Reverb has nothing to do with this, and a normal condenser microphone does not noticeably affect sound in such a way that it would sound unnatural.

@xStandeR Not really. You're thinking of Autotune as the T-Pain effect. Very rarely do you hear a song without Autotune. What they usually do is lower the retune speed to make it seem less obvious.
